My third, Lord Erryk Mallister, is attacking the Banefort with all his strength. It is 25 ships, with 2,500 men. Erryk will be leading them, and he has Noteworthy leadership and beginner naval strategy. I never made a battle skill, but meant for my leadership and naval strategy to stand in for it.
No idea how many troops the Banefort would have. Most like the troops are away fighting alongside Marten, although I am not sure.

If they got word of your attack I'm sure they could muster up at least a thousand men with little problem.

2500 against 1000 in a castle pretty fair.

Since when is House Banefort fighting on my side? Nice to know, though.

Banefort shuts up like a clam. There are just under a thousand men guarding its walls. You have no hope of taking it with out a siege with only 2500 men.
What do you do Tytos?

They made Michael mad, so he has them attacked. (See the Casterly Rock thread)

Upon hearing that Marten throws his support to Cedric, Erryk would have realized that there is no hope. He would have returned, and sought out a diplimatic solution.

But it seems like Michael`s allies have much more common sense than him.

This may be the time to try and make Tytos an ally seeing that his ally is a nutjob.

Yeah, well, I don't see where you go thinking that you can assassinate the Lord Regent with no hitches.

Why not Jaime assassinated Aery's and all he lost was a bit of reputation? If just depends on the image that Randal is given.

That's completely different. There was a new king who needed Aerys dead, which is why he was pardoned. There doesn't seem to be a full fledged rebellion with a new king coming. Marten assassinated the Lord Regent of the Westerlands with no evidence backing is reasons.
