As far as I know it will be Marten`s and Benedicta`s forces versus Michael`s.
Marten will wait for Michael in Keyce, keeping in touch with Benedicta`s force. Plan is for Marten to engage and for Benedicta to strike from the rear.
If Michael is foolish enough to strike at the castle directly, defenders will use it to full advantage, for example putting archers on the walls.

Michael's men are wary of any of Marten's (and, in this case, Bendictas) troops catching them from behind, but around half of them split off and advance forward, with the other half hanging back.
When Bendicta's forces arrive, tha half attacking the castle will break away if it can and regroup with the other portion, focusing first on her troops.
EDIT: Don't roll the battle just yet, Bendicta's forces may yet change sides.

If the forces are near even I got to say Michael I think you're dead.

Well, if they retreat and try to regroup than Marten`s men will pursue them, especially that Knights will wait inside while Michael`s force bleeds over the infantry defending the castle.
Though I must say that my knowledge of middle ages warfare is very limited, so I hope I am not missing something obvious.

He's splitting his forces in a seige, it can't work. And I don't want to give hints on what I would do because it's not my place...but damn I want to.

The army builds siege weapons.
Okay, now that I got that out of the way... They will use the above mentioned siege weapons to batter down the walls, and the infantry will advance into the hail of arrow fire and attempt to hit anything inside. Once the combat is joined, the calvary will attempt to flank around and cut through the enemy ranks.
This strategy also works for open ground combat (if any happens here)

Yeah, I'm splitting the forces, but the distances aren't that great, the other half is simply out of bow and trebuchet range.

with what time? It would take hours to even days to build effective seige weapons against a medieval castle. Longer if we're talking mangonals and the heavy stuff.
Pounds head...must not get involved.

Yeah, I assume it has been around a month, since I posted this (the start of the battle, and I should have, but forgot to say that I built them at teh begining) a little before the slow down, and it has been a while in the slow down.

And yeah, I assume Michael will die or be captured if he can't turn Bendicta.

Well, scenarios were being posted and there was scheming a plenty, so I quess that Smith can roll it already.

Right choice.
Smith, since Cedric sent me PM that he doesn`t send forces to this battle, I think all is clear.
