One of the twenty selldswords are stopped by one of the Hand's guards at the very edge of the encampment. Soon a fight breaks out and most of the hands guard are alerted. The warning cry goes up, and westermen guards are pouring out from the Keep.

Three of the sellswords are killed, and the rest run and escape into the now massing group of guards, and spectators. The night and the bustling people make it impossible to identify the attackers.
