Trial by Combat of Tallahar Tyrell

Tallahar has a surge of strength. He bares his teeth, and swings his sharp blade downwards. The blow is deflected by Ser Miles's armor, but still takes a gash from the Kingsguard's arm.

Lord Tallahar stays aggresive, hoping to wear down the smaller man with his great strenght. He rains blow after blow onto Ser Miles' shield and sword, until eventually he makes a clean blow on the older Kingsguard.

Both fighters are tiring, both have lost much blood. Their swings are weaker and weaker, neither having the strength to puncture armor.

Both fighters pause a moment. The crowd can hear their heavy breathing through their helms. Tallahar looks up during the pause, and sees Lady Haley standing in the ward, her hands clasped together in worry but her face brave. He finds new strength, and once again assaults the Kingsguard, decorating the white armor with Oldflower's red blood.

Lord Tallahar clearly has the upper edge, but the wily knight he faces remains determined. Ducking aside once more, he swings low and his blade cuts in behind Tallahar's knee.

Lord Tallahar is undaunted by his blooded leg. Once more the valyrian steel cuts into Ser Miles' flesh.

Lord Tallahar begins to relentlessly cut into Ser Miles Oldflower. The Kingsguard's wounds look so terrifying men wonder if he can ever recover, but he gamely stays on his feet -- slower now, less able to fend the Dawn Raider, but fighting on.
