For the record: Gaea is doing all the dice rolling for the sake of impartiality; however, since I am more familiar with the combat rules, I will do the interpreting in this thread (she's posting her die rolls in the council forum).
The Great Ward of the Red Castle is filled with onlookers to watch the fate of the Dawn Raider unfold. The Reach Lord is freed from his bonds to fight for his claim of innocence, while Ser Miles Oldflower, the King's Champion, will fight in the name of Callen's vengeance.

The two men face each other at the center of the ward, ringed by Goldcloaks. Lord Tallahar brandishes the great Valyrian sword gifted to Lord Barret Tyrell before his death.
The two men circle each other for an age before Tallahar loses patience and lunges at his foe. Oldflower lifts his shield but Tallahar, in his rage, knocks it aside and cuts the man's thigh.

OOC: If you want bigger reason why. The sword was hidden at my Town House.

OOC: Yeah. VS is legal in TBC, that's Standard Policy. Hell, -poison- is legal in trials by combat.

The sight of Oldflower's blood encourages Tallahar's attack, but the Kingsguard is a wiley fighter, outstepping the larger man, deflecting his blade, and driving his own deep into the gap between Tallahar's shoulder pauldron and the arm grieve. Blood pours down the plates covering Lord Tallahar's arm, but the Reachlord is undaunted and fights on for his name.

Poison legal? No. Oberyn never bothered to asked permission, that's all...

Tallahar's rage increases, but the smooth Oldflower continues to dance outside the Reach Lord's powerful swings, deftly cutting into the Dawn Raider again.

Ser Miles Oldflower is clearly now confident of victory. He blows a kiss towards two of the watching Kingsguard, Ser Edrick and Ser Giles, but Lord Tallahar, undaunted by his own bloodshed, pounces, his heavily armored elbow first knocking Ser Miles back and then his sword sliding smoothly through a weak point in the armor, leaving a painful looking wound.

Ser Miles Oldflower quickly dances back to avert the onslaught. Tallahar charges again, but too recklessly, and runs himself straight onto Ser Miles' sword. Blood is now all over his armor, turning the green to a murky brown.
