Cedric Lannister, Erik Pyke, and Sargon Greyjoy. Much fun.

Okay. Three-way finger dance. I will roll these as opposed checks. Only a result that would equal a "massive" wound will slice off fingers; therefore, no one will lose anything on the first throw (differential greater than 100 is impossible). However, you take "wounds" (light) will apply negatives to future roles as per a regular fight (axes are not blunted).
Who is throwing at who to start? (oh, and Eric is a Master axeman. No bonus to catching, but I'm going to put a slight bonus on his throws).
ETA: I've reread the thread. I'd call a massive or heavy wound a "loss" (as per "losing a finger" or "bleeding" respectively), and average wounds will miss the axe. Light wounds will catch the axe, but bruise your hand, giving you a -10 to your next catch and your next throw. Here goes.
These rules might be too generous. Ah well.

I imagine Sargon or Erik would throw at me first, you know, to test the newbie.

Sargon flings an axe towards the Greenlander. Cedric's hand snaps out, grabbing the haft of the axe with surprising dexterity.
(Throw: 42, Catch: 62)
Cedric's turn to throw.

Erik Pyke is a man who has clearly done this before. He catches the tossed axe with ease and a laugh, his offhand still holding a horn of ale.
(Throw: 30, Catch: 73)
He turns and whips the axe towards his fellow Ironborn, surprising Sargon. The blade catches Greyjoy on the flat of the palm, causing a gush of blood. Sargon is out of the finger dance, and his hand is substantially wounded.
(Throw: 101, Catch: 18)
Erik laughs again, and pulling another axe from his belt, flings it at Cedric's head. Cedric throws his hand up to protect his face, and takes a nasty cut along his forearm, losing him the dance as well.
(Throw: 76, Catch 36).
Erik Pyke wins the Finger Dance.

No problem. I'm sure the rules could use a little refinement, but this worked for now.
