OOC: It is 7 to 1. I'm assuming there'd be some pretty crushing penalties on Kit, as those odds are pretty far beyond what even the best warriors in Martin's books can take on barring super-extraordinary circumstances. Kit will be allowed to yield if he wants and will be taken alive if possible.

Kennos two men charge and attack Kit's last companion. The charge him swinging and screaming; for all their effort they barely prevent him from reaching Kidwell.
The other seven men continue to attack Kidwell and this is too much even for a legendary swordsman. Three swords strike him leaving gashes in his arm, leg and side.
Kidwell's blood traces angry lines down his armor, and his sword flies in retribution. A man is cut through the throat and tumbles to ground lifeless. Kidwell lands another blow on Kennos, Tom and one of the other bandits. They all remain standing, and Tom spits to his growling in anger.

None. If Kidwell's life is in danger, he will yield. Otherwise, continue as planned.

Nevermind, Varner is right. Kit may die, but he wouldn't yield. Kit will fight on through what blows he takes, seeking strength from the love of Rhae and his family. He will keep fighting for them, more than himself. If they allow him to yield he will, but otherwise he will fight until he dies.
As for combat strategy, Kit will be avoiding being surrounded, and using natural obstacles as defense if possible. In addition he'll aim to strike low when an occasion presents itself where he could. He'll be more eager to get the fighters incapacitated and out of the fight rather than killed.

Kennos will allow Kit to yield. He is curious at this point.
Anyways, the men will continue to surround Kit. The two fighting his last man will keep doing so. If they win, they'll join the fight against Kidwell instead.
