Assuming Rhysling accepts the challenge, of course. If he does not, well, ignore this thread.
Ser Junas Rhysling: Legendary, +110 total. Lord Jon Royce: Grandmaster, +10 for Ancestral Armor, +110 total.

Rhysling will accept the challenge but I don't think his armor really confers such a bonus? I don't think it's exactly fair because we don't have rules for armor bonuses/penalties.
Perhaps we should though.

It's been established in the past that the Bronze armor of Runestone counts as +10 in a fight. I think I objected at the time, but the precedent has been made by now.

Really? Though I think if -anything- it should lessen the penalties gained from wounds (Perhaps by 5). It doesn't make much sense that a suit of armor would give damage unless it was spiked.

It has counted as such since the dawning of this game, same as VS. The original admin established it as such . Since the numbers are based on a differential, it could be assume to not be adding to Royce's number but subtracting from his foes. The effect is the same.

Did I really?! Well then... fair enough. Do you mind if I use VS? Jon is wearing full plate armor after all.

Yeah I mind! I don't want Jon to die! I did assume everyone wears their armor to fight.

Round One
JR: 186 JR: 195 (No Contact)
The two men fly across the grounds their steel mere blurs in the light. Sparks fly from where the swords connect, and the combatants groan in effort. The flurry of blows last for minutes but the men are too evenly matched, every strike meets a counter and every thrust is blocked.

Round two
SJR: 146 LJD: 208 (Heavy Hit)
The fight continues and Junas drags his blade across the bronze armor of Royce. After several more blows Rhysling slips and in a blink the fight is over as Jon knocks the other man from his feet with a vicious cut across the chest.
Lord Jon Royce defeats Ser Jonas Rhysling
