Ser Hodrick opens the door and enters the resting room of the Prince dressed in a Septon's robes. He is hooded but upon finding the Prince standing by the window he throws off his wool cloak. This reveals a layer of ringmail over boiled leather. The Tully knight also wields a greatsword.
The Targaryen Prince is wearing black boiled leather under his crest (with his house arms emblazoned upon it). He keeps a firm grip on his Valyrian steel longsword "Horror".
When Ser Hodrick enters the room, Maerys slowly turns to meet his gaze and Maerys, determining that he can easily defeat his opponent, does not call for assistance.
