[The Stranger]

"They're men enough, and decent fighters. No fucking sailors though, that's for damn sure. They sail in these big boxy bastards, might as well trying to sail around on Pyke castle, if she would float. "

[Erik]

"About what I had figured," Erik replies, "And what's the deal we've cut with them? Independence for us, while they take the rest of Westeros? That won't last."

[The Stranger]

"Independence and the Riverlands. Harlaw says we'll strengthen ourselves while they run themselves ragged trying to control the rest of Westeros, and even if the Baratheons take power again, we'll be too secure to be defeated. They've not go no dragons no more. His words."

[Erik]

"So we make ourselves shit in the eyes of the Kingdoms, in exchange for territory not even equal to Black Harren's empire. Wonderful." Erik spits on the ground. "Ah, well. What's done is done. Can I get some horses, for me and my men? I'd like to catch up with Harlaw, be with the conquering heroes."

[The Stranger]

The man shrugged, "Don't look at me, I just pull the oars." he pointed to where a few men were gathered.

"Might be some horses left over that way, try your luck."

[Erik]

Erik shrugs as well, and heads over to the small group.

"Excuse me, gentlemen, any chance you could tell me if there's any available horses here? I need to catch up with the army."

[The Stranger]

The men were leaning up against a wooden structure.

"Aye, there's horses inside," The man said, with a jerk of his thumb. "All yours."

a whinny from inside the stable confirmed the man's suspicions. Inside there were ten horses, of poor breeding, but they seemed fit and fed enough for a journey.

[Erik]

Erik is rather dismayed at the look and number of the horses, but he takes them anyway. After the crew gets the ship pulled up on shore, they set out, Erik and a few chosen men riding while the others walk. They make for Riverrun, to cross the Red Fork, and eventually catch up to the army.

[Erik]

Erik's army arrives outside the keep, and, as they have before, he and about a hundred guards approach the gates and order whoever holds the keep to come out and have a word.

[The Stranger]

An Iron born Captain who Erik remembers, sticks his head out,

"Yes? What is it?"

[Erik]

"Got orders from the King." Erik replies. "We're to sail, hit Moat Cailin from the Saltspear. You're staying here, but we need provisions for the night."

[The Stranger]

"You'll have to get past the blockade. The damn Crownlanders have been sitting off the coast for weeks. We've got night fires up to make them think we're more protected than we are, but it ain't gonna last forever. There was more of 'em, but they done scattered."

[Erik]

"Have they hit our ships, or do we still have something left?"

[The Stranger]

"We got all the longships up onto the land, and the Iron Fleet is in port. We have a few men marching around on them, raising and lowering sails, and making them look full, but its not a ruse which will last."

[Erik]

"It shouldn't have to. I've got 5,500 or so men, I'll take 55 ships and deal with the blockade, then take 'em North. Sound all right?"
