Edderion Flint bursted through the doors of Storm's End's feasting hall shouting songs when he saw everyone (and in particular a group of Martell's) turn their heads.
"Woops", he said grinning, "...Didn't know the room t'would be so quiet." Turning to look at the open doorway, he mentioned that the Lord of the castle should consider making the doors harder to open.

Lucian was sitting back in a stool watching the crowds of people in dance on the floor. He had is arms crossed and that always present stern look on his face. He had signed up for the melee as planned and hoped to put a hurting into some of these men. Then, the news from Dorne came. He was alreadt by the Princess' side when the letter came to her.
"We leave Dorne for a mere few weeks and some bandit gets the better of us!" He stood and began for the doors, "I am riding out now. I will send word to Elciron to ride to Sunspear. Princess you should come. The yound Prince can stay as our Dorne represnitive. I ride south."

"Your highness, please inform us if the strength of the Stormlands is required to aid you against these raiders. I view an attack on Sunspear as an attack upon us all. I will skip Lord Baldwin's tourney if need be."

Flint, overhearing the commotion exclaimed, "Oh fuck".

While ongoing conversation can continue, I am going to set the stage for the 2nd night's feast, which comes after the four champions have been decided but the melee awaits for the next day.
While the first night's feast was set to celebrate the Dornish, featuring the food, fruit and wine of Dorne, the second night celebrates the Stormlands: huge roasting venison and elk, heavy pork stews, strong cider and the finest ales in the Six Kingdoms.
The second night celebrates the "Defenders of Storm's End", the four champions who won out the day: Felwick Gower, Galwyn Fell, the squire Edrick Dondarrion, and most of all Ser Giles Grandison, the only knight who stood amongst the champions at the start of the tourney and lasted to the end. Between them, it was the Squire who won the ultimate prize, a stunning upset and great pleasure for Rhodri.

(OOC: I was confused and thought that we were on the second night already. Oh well, temporal anomalies can be worked around as necessary.)
Emelia smiled and considered Rhodri's words. "I thank you for the sentiment, but I do not wish to spoil the party for those who are not yet threatened. Still, I would welcome any ships and seamen you could send with me to sweep the Sea of Dorne of these blackguards; Dorne and Stormlands share a sea."
She smiled at Elester. "You may remain or stay as you please; either way I am certain you will bring honor to the Martells."

The northern men standing together were certainly a hodgepodge: the burly Medge and Kenyn Cerwyn, tall and thin Isaac Glover, the almost monstrous Greatbear and Konn Karstark (who was fairly unimpressive by any measure besides a great beard). The northerners shared only a few similarities- the swords which hung from their hips, the furs which draped around their necks, and the swords which hung from elsewhere.

I had been offline when the second day of jousting was completed. IC: "That may require we build a navy. We have a few craft, but we have always relied on the Crown Fleet during Baratheon rule -- that, and only a madman could land a ship in Shipbreaker's Bay." "But our resources are at your disposal, and these buccaneers shall not find safe harbor anywhere in our lands." This incident did make Rhodri start thinking about the state of the Stormland navy -- or the lack of one. Just one more thing on the list.

OOC: Ah. Well, as I said. Temporal anomalies are a part of life in Westeros one way or another. Emelia's red alert was intended to be during the second night.
"We thank you for the sentiment nonetheless. We'll use our own craft for this then." She smiled at the Redroyce. "I will find some way to repay your generosity." With that, she swept briskly from the hall, followed by the Martell men who were coming.

Steffen went over to Rhodri, and spoke in low tones.
"She certainly has changed, our Emelia. The one of old would never have accepted outside help. Certainly, she was not so forthcoming four years ago. A piece of friendly advice Royce, dont trust her. She is all ambition and venom that one."

"I have learned, Lord Steffen, much to my regret, not to trust anyone."

Steffen smiled at that. "Indeed." He rejoined the feast, and whispered something in his wife Daena's ear.

Isaac Glover, clad in scarlet and grey with a white fur cape drew close to Steffen.
"Lord Lannister, I am Isaac Glover, I live thousands of miles north of you and have sex with women more beautiful than your wife." He smiles at Daena.

Steffen turned to face the man, and smiled slyly. "A mighty boast. Yet it surprises me that anyone still lives up there, what with the plague. You wolves have been mute for a while now."

Lord Rhodri moves from the tent, intent on speaking once more for the Princess before her party departs Storm's End. He brings with them Garth Buckler, his sturdy and useful steward.
"Your highness, I may not be able to aid with ships, but I can be of aid in another way. Dorne is short of woodland. Buckler, please arrange for a dozen wagonloads of Mist Wood timber to be brought to Sunspear to aid in the rebuilding of their Harbor."
