A massive pavilion has been constructed to accommodate all the noble lords and ladies for a great feast at the first night of the tourney. The tables are piled high with delicacies of every sort, with a particular nod to the cuisine of Dorne, to honor them as guests. Pitchers of wine and bronze goblets are at every seat, and upon a raised dais are chairs for Lord Rhodri and his guest-of-honor, Princess Emelia Martell, and the hostess, Lady Becca Royce.
The shields of the current champions are raised in here as well, so that all who attend will know which knights to treat with deference and respect.
At the beginning of the meal, Lord Rhodri offers a toast to Princess Emelia and Dorne, and their continued friendship. He makes the toast with Dornish spiced wine.

The talk at many of the tables was the great display by young Ser Giles Grandison, now called the Waking Lion. He was the youngest of the day's starting champions, faced the most foes, but remained triumphant. There was also much talk of the great battles of Ser Lucian Martell, his great victory over Ser Rindwynd, and Warren Blackwood's great victory over Lucian.
The Valemen also emerged with much honor, with Ser Robert Royce defeating knights of great renown, such as Tomas Clegane, and the success of the Redfort lads.

After the feasting, the tables will be cleared in favor of musicians and dancing. All of the maidens are encouraged into the arms of the day's champions.

Ser Donal walked into the pavilion with his son Addam, clad in a purple silk tabard and cloth of gold belt.

"Have you taken new colors, Ser Donal?" Rhodri asks curiously. "Should we repaint your shield?"

Ser Donal smiled at the question "Merely an affectation, Lord Royce. There are plenty of gold roses to be found at Highgarden and I find myself more suited to the sea air and learning to be found at Oldtown. Although I bear the name of my good father, I still find myself somewhat of an outsider in my family due to my origins, so I thought to bear slightly different colours. Who knows? Mayhap, a new strain of rose has been bred this generation. There are two Fossaways, perhaps this bud needs to split off the branch as well?" Donal shrugged "Anyway it was a good contest today, was it not? I would have liked to have faced further opponents to better prove my worth but hopefully I will have the chance to do so tomorrow. Ser Grandison acquitted himself particularly well today, I thought."

"Indeed, indeed. I'm sure tomorrow will bring you more opportunity to prove your worth."

"Let us hope so, Lord Royce. I thank you again for your gracious hospitality. I think I'll mingle a bit more with your guests and see if the wine is as good here as it is at home" Ser Donal laughs and heads off into the throng with his son.

Lucian made his way towards the pavillion where the feast was being held. He trodded slowly eyes darting about to the variance of the many signs of heraldry. All the talk was about this being an honor for Dorne. For the alliance! He shrugged it off and entered the pavillion. Dorne won a war without shedding a drop of blood. There was no greater conquest in his mind.
He gave casual nods to the onlookers as he made his way in. He looked about the place and spotted Emelia. He made his way over to her and took the seat to her left.
"Neice, are you fairing well?"

Many maidens seem to be approaching young Ser Giles, heir to Grandview. He seems to be collecting a variety of favors.

The Redroyce approaches young Garrett Redfort, who had earned his spurs that day. "Lad, you have come of age and no longer need to serve as ward. Would you join my service as a yeoman knight? You proved your worth with your conquest of Lord Selmy."

Prince Elester marches to the pavilion with an entourage consisting knights all over westeros, with a flagon of dark red dornish wine in his left arm. He seats himself to the corner of the pavilion and starts to debate hotly about the previous events of the day. Mainly about the joust, but the conversation tends to slip into everything between heaven and hell.

Princess Emelia smiled towards Ser Lucian. "I am, and I congratulate you for your performance, Uncle. You and Elester both provided magnificent showings to the credit of Dorne and the Martells. It's a pity that I hadn't learned to ride and do battle like Nymeria of old."
She turned to include the Redroyce in her field of vision briefly, eyes flicking back and forth between him and Lucian.

Steffen enters the feast, but eats little, spending most of the time drinking wine and discussing something with Ser Samwise Waters.

Lord Piers Bettley enters the feast leaning on his elegantly carved cane. Ser Tomas Clegane is standing close besides him. The two men stand in a central location, eyeing every attractive woman with out a large, dangerous husband. Piers begins mocking Tomas relentlessly for losing earlier that day.
