Harry Lonmouth struggled to keep the smile on his face, but the twinkle from his eye was gone. He hoped Lannister didn't recognize him, but he needn't worry. He had changed over the years, an eye stabbed out, a cleanshaven face, and the features of a middleaged man all combined to make him someone completely different from who he once was. Besides Steffan had never really been in King's Landing when Lonmouth had still served there. "You know I never saw much of them," Harry blatantly lied, "but it was alright work, I earned enough to put food on the table for the missus while I was off patrolling the Narrow Sea for His Grace."

Steffen continues to look at the man, as if trying to place him. Eventually he gives up, and shrugs. "Well good luck in the tourney anyway. Gods, a man who looks like hes never ridden a horse in his life should need it." Steffen gives the man a gold dragon, before leaving, headed for his tent.

Next to Lonmouth stood his companion, a slightly younger man from the Reach. Ser Miles Oldflower was as equal in swordplay as his greatest friend, Harry Lonmouth, and they worked together in combat.
He wore a dark brown wool traveling cloak, and listened to Lonmouth speak without saying a word.

Lonmouth watched Steffan Lannister leave. "Other's take him," he muttered under his breath. He turned and threw the dragon to Miles. "Go see if you can get a skin of ale for that boy, I'm going to go into town and see the blacksmith about that lance of mine." He mounted his horse and trotted off towards the training yard in Storm's End. He glanced up at the five shields shields on the champion's pillars. There was Kitt's, or Kid Death's standard among the rest. That bastard won't be up there for long, that fucking knight is both a kinslayer and kingslayer, the god's surely won't favour that thought Lonmouth.

Ser Miles Oldflower, the Greenhand, trotted to do as Lonmouth asked, sighing.

I'm sure Kitt's will be up there soon enough thought Lonmouth. OOC: Right before the tourney started, a fifth pole was erected with Kit's shield. He started the tourney amongst the Champions, and still awaits his first challenge.

As his man Rivers is felled, Steffen looks up at Rhodri. "Damn. It appears your man is rather skilled ser. Cogratulations."

Rhodri grunts in appreciation of the Stormshield's efforts. "Ser Brandon will be one of the famed knights of Westeros soon enough. He is not my Captain for nothing. He fought bravely throughout the War of Stag and Dragon. Though defeating your man took some doing, so I think there is honor enough for both."
The blue clad Stormshield rides through the lists in celebration, and dips his lance towards the box, at Lord Rhordri, Lady Becca and the Princess Emelia, before returning to his pavilion to await the next challenge.
Two more challengers were ready to go, Ser Clegane and Lord Hasty, facing Estermont and Grandison.
"I wonder who will be the first with the courage to try Kid Death", Rhodri wonders.

"Aye, he is clearly a useful man. Rivers is also a dangerous fighter, but he seems to get distracted to easily. A pity. I have little expectations concerning young Ser Harys Piper." Seeing who was next, he smiled at Rhodri. "Ten dragons says Clegane skewers him."

While the Stormshield tilted against the Bastard of Riverrun, the Kingsguard Ser Garrett Estermont faced against Ser Tomas Clegane, considered the greatest sword of the west but an unknown talent with the lance. It takes six passes, but Clegane strikes Estermont four times to no clean blows by the Kingsguard, and is declared the victor.
The three black dogs of Clegane replaces the clean White shield of Estermont amongst the champions.

Rhodri chuckles, and passes ten dragons to Lannister. "I would have expected better from a Kingsguard. That white shield is so lovely."

Steffen grinned. "I take it he has friends in highplaces then, this Estermont?"
Ser Samwise Rivers storms towards Steffen, his head still bleeding, and his face stormy.
"I had the bastard, he fucking fluk..." He spotted the look in Steffen's eyes, and thought better of continuing. He bowed, and left.
"How tiresome." Steffen sighed. "Spear would never have tried that."
