"Yes, Prince Elester, I am," Ser Robert replied, glancing at the boy. "I find that, despite age, one should never relinquish old pleasures." He greeted Ser Donal and his son courteously.
"I hear that you squire for Kid Death," Elane said to young Addam. "You're a lucky boy."

Yes I am and pleased to meet you Ser Donal. Said Prince Elester. "I have never before particpated a tourney this big and I can hardly wait to get on horseback with a lance in my arm". Prince Elester said with his voice full of exitement. "But you must surely have participated some tourneys before, so do you have any idea, when we are going to start?" He asked curiously.
Prince Elester was getting exhausted about the number of visitors surrounding his pavillon. He was pleased, that he was noticed, but he was getting tired to answer to the questions of riverlords, valesmen, lords of the reach and so on.

Elane greets the Worm and Daena Targaryen. "Well met, my lord. My lady."
"I heard that you weren't coming, Lord Steffen," Ser Robert said.

"We're going to start when the master of games affixes the opponents," Ser Robert said to the young prince. "And when Lord Rhodri announces it. I wonder who the Queen of Love and Beauty will be?"
"Little Saella," Elane laughed. "I promised her."

Addam grinned nervously and bowed to Elane Royce "Thank you m'lady. It was the happiest day of my life when he let me squire for him. He's the greatest knight in all of Westeros!!" Addam stopped, and blushed again "I mean no disrepect to any of you, Sers"
"Please forgive my son" Donal interrupted "He is still young and learning when he should be keeping his mouth closed. Off with you boy, and attend to Ser Kitwell." As Addam scurried off, Donal bowed to Ser Lannister and his lady wife. "Lord Steffen. It is a pleasure to meet your acquantaince, and that of your lovely wife. Please accept my apologies but I must go and ready myself for the tourney. I hope we shall meet again" Donal nodded to Lady Royce and said to Prince Elester "I wish you good fortune in the jousts, Prince Elester. I myself am terrible with the lance so I shall be sticking to the Grand Melee". Donal grinned and headed off towards his encampment.

"I am sure the Red Royce will be equally thrilled to see you, Lord Steffen," Ser Robert said dryly. "I'm afraid I must take my leave of you, my lords. Horses, you know how they are."
Elane saw that the prince was getting restless. "I shall go for a walk," she said with another bright smile. "Good luck to you, sers. I know that you will acquit yourselves well in the lists."

Trumpets sound a flourish, and knights, squires and horseman start scurrying from their pavilions to the Lists. Along one rail are four tall poles, each holding a shield. Two pages quickly assemble a fifth pole, and add a new shield.
At the base of each pole is the prize to be won by each final champion; at the foot of one pole, is a large ceremonial shield, with an engraved image of the Drum Tower over cliffs. The second bears a finely crafted sword, featuring a gold and ruby hilt. The third pole holds a set of silver spurs, and the promise of a great Destrier to the winner. The fourth challenge pole has a masterly crafted greathelm.
The fifth pole, newly assembled, bears no award and no new honor has been announced. However, the shield placed upon the top, the shield of the knight any challenger must vanquish to take his place amongst the champions, is a well known black shield with creeping green ivy. Victory over him would be greater than any of the first four awards.
OOC: Challengers may now go to the "Battle" forum to see the shields of the champions, choose an opponent, and joust for victory.
OOOC: If you were paying attention earlier, I have changed the format slightly. But I think this should be better. The format of this joust is now akin to the joust in the Hedge Knight, or the movie Ivanhoe.

Lord Rhodri Royce, after making his pronouncement, sits back in his box to await the first challenger. He is flanked by his wife, the Lady Becca Royce, on one side, and the Princess Emelia Martell on the other. His son, Yohn Royce, sits at his knees, and his daughter, Saella Royce, in her mother's lap.
The rest of the stands are filled with nobility eager to see the days challenges, and the standing ground is filled with smallfolk hoping for the sight of blood.

Princess Emelia carefully made her way into the box with Lord Rhodri, smiling at the man as she did so, then turning to grin at little Saella. Her eyes then glanced over at the tourney field. Shajura, in her feather gown, properly took her own seat next to Emelia, winking over at young Yohn.

Daena Targaryen seats herself next to emelia and Rhodri.
"My lord. Princess. It is an honour." She smiled calmly, as her husband remained deep in a conversation with Ser Samwise Waters, who was dressed for the joust.

A man with an eye patch over his left eye enters the tourney ground accompanied by a young boy and a destrier draped with armour. He moves across the field and sets up a small tent near the edge of the plain.

Ser Harys Piper spots the one eyed man, and approaches him in the usual pugnacious fashion of a small man. "I dont recall your face ser. Where are you from?" He stares at the man suspicously.
