This thread takes place post-4YG.
A series of colorful silk pavilion tents are arrayed along the open plain surrounding the Storm's End curtain walls, housing all the arriving knights and lords come to participate or watch the great tourney that will shortly take place. The central feature are the lists themselves, with seating for both the highborn and smallfolk. Pillars along one edge of the lists display the shields of the four champions. Some might recongnize the broad blue shield of Ser Brandon Buckler, or the resting lion of Ser Giles Grandison.
Each challenger will be placed in one of four groups to compete for the chance to challenge one of the four champions, and the victors will gain honors and contest each other to be Grand Champion.
Visiting knights and lords are invited upon arrival by the Castle steward, Garth Buckler, to set up their pavilions and join the feast to be hosted by Lord Rhodri Royce in the Drum Tower.

Lady Elane rides into the grounds with her cousin Ser Robert Royce, three young Redfort knights and many others a little way behind . Garth Buckler hurries to the Royce party to invite them to set up their pavilions, and Ser Robert and Lady Elane are escorted to Lord Rhodri.

Garth is a fussy man, but competent. He never shared his brother's (the Lord Buckler) feel for military command, or his nephew's great skill at arms. But he serves very well as castle steward, and knows how to treat nobility with the proper respect.
He quickly finds a comfortable open area for Elane Royce's party.

Ser Donal arrives with his entourage, sets up camp and his squire sets up his shield in the lists. His son, Addam accompanies him on a bay courser, clad awkwardly in mail & surcoat trying to look composed and not gawk around at all the banners and sights, sounds and smells of the tourney. Along with Donal, several of his knights enter the lists, chief among them, the new captain of his personal guard, Ser Eddard Peake. He greets Garth Buckler and is escorted to the Drum Tower with his son, leaving the rest of his party to set up camp.

While Ser Robert resides in his magnificent pavilion, a tent hung with orange silk with the Royce banners flying over it, his knights set up their pavilions around his, their brilliantly caparisoned destriers tethered outside their tents. Some of them mingle with the knights of the Reach.
OOC: I think Ser Robert was originally an NPC, but he's a Royce and he was sitting uselessly in Runestone, so I decided to do something with him. Let me know if this is okay.

Prince Elester arrives with his pitch black courser and an entourage of three young dornish knights and ten servants, and sets up huge red pavilion, where he resides with his knights.

As Elane rides her palfrey back down to the grounds, she sees her cousin, young Ser Alliser Redfort, trading tourney stories with a young Dornish knight, with Ser Robert looking on. The men bow as she rides up. Greeting them, she dismounts and eyes the red silk tent with interest.
"Come, uncle," she says, taking Ser Robert's arm. "We must acquaint ourselves with these Dornishmen." After all, she knew Rhodri had invited them partly to reinforce the peace. They walk towards Prince Elester's pavilion.

OOC: My father is Ser Robert's cousin, Edwyn Royce. Or Ser Robert's brother, Edwyn Royce. Either way. Something like that. :S ETA: I think Ser Robert, Lilith Royce and Edwyn Royce were all siblings of the Alyn Royce...so he's my uncle

Prince Elester was outside his pavillon laughing to a joke told by a dornish knight next to him, when he noticed, that a group of Knights and nobles from the Vale approach his pavillon. "Good day to you Knights and nobles of the vale! Are you here only to enjoy our company, or do you have something you wish to discuss?" He shouted to Elena's group.

"Only to make your acquaintance," Ser Robert answered gruffly. He personally couldn't care for this sort of small talk, but his niece Elane had a certain thing for building networks, and he saw the use in it, especially in King's Landing. "I am Ser Robert Royce, the uncle of Lord Rhodri, and this is my niece Lady Elane."
Elane smiled her usual amiable smile and curtsied. "It is an honor to meet the kin of Princess Emelia."

Don't tell that to the princess, or she will became over-proud of herself, he laughed. And you Ser Robert. Are you planning to participate the tournament? He asked politely.
