"And no army has passed through here since then?" Alex questioned looking at the eyes of the small folk. "Don't lie to me, my men can tell if an Army has passed through, I need to know when and how many?"

"Some men came, took our food, and went west, but we haven't seen anyone since, I promise. Its just us small folk. From the villages, hiding."

"Do these men come regularly or was it a one time event?" He eyes Ser Keldon as a signal to check out his story to see if it is true.

"It was just the one time. After Lemonwood was taken, I heard some men say they had fought there, and that they were moving west. I don't know anything else I swear it.'

Alexander nods, "Very well, thank you. You may go."

Lord Alexander Irwyn, As you may know I took the Riverlands host and marched south. Beyond the entrance of the Prince's Pass, however, we were attacked by Lord Fowler and his forces. The Riverlands army was decimated, and we have only 3,500 able men left. Lord Fowler has an army of around 12,000 still, and is back in hiding again. You should be very careful marching Skyreach.

"Fucking Fowler," Alexander says crumbling up the parchment. He adjusts the numbers on his board listing Allied troop strength and marks the location of the attack on his map of Dorne. On it is a number of markers representing all the alleged sightings of Fowler in the past month.

////////////////////////////// Alexander Irwyn and army return to Godsgrace. The remaining Dornish small folk scatter to return to their homes with few lords left to call them to arms, Alexander might see them again in battle but he rather doubted it.

Robb Tarly stalked through the castle, his mind on memories of the past and thoughts of the future. Passing Lord Irwyn's solar, he decided to inform the guards he would like to have a word with the general.

The guards nod and show Lord Tarly in immediately. Alexander sit behind a desk composing a letter he stops when Tarly enters standing.
"Robb nice to see you, come in."

Robb bows and takes a seat, glancing about the room idly. He has no true purpose for the meeting; he had been driven mad since returning to the castle, with nothing to do and only thoughts for the dead.
"Nice to see you, too, Lord Irwyn," Robb says finally. "Do we have any plans of action now that we have returned to Godsgrace?" he asked, quite curious.

Alexander scowled, "Well now we wait, for word from the crown. We have done our soldierly duty but now we must wait for the politicians to theirs. It is often a drab and dirty business, the politicians don't fight the same as us soldiers."

Robb nodded, frustrated but knowing that there was nothing he could do. Suddenly an idea formed in his head. "Lord, if I may make a request? The smallfolk have suffered greatly in this war, both by the Dornish army's selfishness to take their own people's food, and our own need for food and supplied. Now that we have.... lost so many.... we have a large excess of supplies. So some do not go to waste, may I take my men out and distrubute them among the villages? The women and children will need food," Robb said, before adding grudgingly, "Aye, and even the men too," knowing that those same men had just been trying to kill him.

Alexander stroked his beard, "Well it is a noble idea Robb, and if you can forgive the Dornish people then I am sure the mother will bless you for your kindness. Be sure to take enough men and be wary of riots, hungry people will do unpredictable things and there will be a large amount of distrust so you might have to prove that the food is not poisoned as some will suspect it is."
