Beric seated himself, waved to one of the serving girls, and when she came asked for some Dornish Red. He then turned to Elijah. "I hear the Lady Tristeza's son was born. If you should see her before I do please congratulate her on my behalf." Beric took the wine that had just arrived and drank it all down in one. "It seems like these last few days I have been doing naught but sitting under the sun and drinking. I should like to test myself at the training ground soon. Would you care to join me?"

"Absolutely, Ser, it would be an honour," said Elijah as he too drained the remainder of his cup, "I fear we'll have to test our mettle in real battle all too soon. I'll also be sure to pass your well wishes and congratulations to my sister; as soon as she'll see me, that is."
Elijah raised his glass at a serving girl, "I'm wondering if you and Arannya would be willing to take up residency in the Tower should my sister give her consent. You both will be playing pivotal roles in our bid for survival and, not that I'm sure it's imminent, an attempt on your lives would have a much less likely chance of success should you be there."

Beric smiled. "Many men have tried to kill me, wether it is for my scary appearance or because they didn't like me. So far few have managed. However, Aryanna and I would be very pleased to take a room in the Tower. I have heard that from certain windows one has a magnificent view." Beric too lifted his cup for the serving girl, this time drinking more leisurely. "As to battle, I am sure it is coming soon. I am good at one to one combat, even up against four men, however a battle field is something I have rarely witnessed."

Elijah nodded grimly, "I, unfortunately, have never seen one. I've fought men and, thus far, come out alive on the other side, but that's been about it. Holland campaigned when he was younger and the stories he tells seem unbelievable." "Thank you for accepting my offer, and yes, the view can be quite breathtaking," Elijah said, "I don't see any reason why Lady Tristeza will disagree and I have been taking care of most things since she has been recovering. I have already written her about it." With that, Elijah stood, "Tomorrow in the training ground, then?" He offered his hand to Ser Beric. OOC: i've got a few installs coming in this afternoon that i have to coordinate; i'm still at work i'll try and get on some this evening, if possible. i'm not sure about the rules but i think that since i had a "battle" today, i have to wait till tomorrow to have another.

Beric took Elijah's hand and shook it. "It shall be an honour to train with you." With that he bowed his head and turned to go back to his room. He stopped, walked over to the bar, pointed at something and flicked a coin at the serving maid. She grabbed a bottle of wine and handed it to Beric, who thanked her and went to his room.
OOC: Sounds good. I should be on later on as well.
