A large, upscale inn that caters to the insatiable needs of the wealthy.

Seth entered first, keeping his cub hidden in the folds of his cloak. Unlike Nemesis, Iron hardly ever mewed. Every time Seth looked down, the cub was staring back at him with those intelligent eyes, quietly assessing, it seemed. He was growing fonder than he would have liked of the cub.
"Do you have a room?" He asked the innkeeper, who looked him up and down disdainfully.
"Maybe I got some room in the stables." She said, taking their travel-worn clothing for homelessness.

Aerie sneered disdainfully. “I could buy your stables girl. Now give us a room.” A flash of gold glinted in her hand.

She immediately perked up.
"Right this way. How many rooms would you like, we haven't had much patronage since the star fell."

Aerie's eyes swept over their numbers and she looked back to the woman. "Three rooms," she said briskly.

Seth eyed the group. Then he sighed. It looked like he would be bunking with the soldiers. It would be hard to keep Iron quiet with so many people to be underfoot.
"I suppose we should take a look at their quality..." He said, eyeing the innkeeper severely.

“Don’t be silly,” Aerie interrupted. “We don’t have time for these irrelevant tangents.” She turned to the guard. “Ser Brandon, we are retiring to our chambers for the time being.” She motioned for Seth to follow.

Seth laughed. "You say silly tangent, but I'll have the last laugh when our pillows are filled with mites and slugs."
He paused thinking about that prospect. "Perhaps I will not laugh so hard."
He followed her up the stairs.

Aerie entered her room and gestured him to a chair by a polished desk while she took her customary seat on the floor. “So. Did Emelia attempt to make any sort of bargain with you? Did she ask you anything odd?”

He crossed to the chair and withdrew Iron. The cub yawned as he set him on the floor, but he bounded along after his sister when Aerie placed Nemesis down as well.
"She wanted to know whether or not I tried to steal the "star metal", as she called it." He smirked a little. "I told her truthfully that I had planned on taking it, but did not at the last minute." He sighed. "Though I did hide it, and I remember exactly where it is. No one else will find it. I have a feeling that metal is quite valuable--research-wise, of course."
He looked at her. "You know, you can relax around me. I know you're not as stiff as you want to seem." He looked a bit concerned. "You should sleep. I can tell you want to. Don't worry, I won't tell the men you need sleep like everyone else." He said this last part as a gentle joke, smiling genuinely.

Aerie watched the kittens gamboling about with a faint smile, drawing upon their boundless energy. When Seth explained his encounter with Emelia, she found herself frowning in anger and disgust. So it was just with me then. He didn’t have anything she wanted anyways,
She laughed at his last comment. “Very funny. I’m not tired. We need to figure out how we’re going to get this done. That is our top priority, remember?”

He had caught the minute change in her demeanor. "What did she ask of you?" He felt she could trust him with anything that was said. It was obviously something that bothered her.

“Nothing,” Aerie said firmly. “She was very annoying and persistent. It bothered me. Now, we digress.”

"Alright." Seth said, not pushing the subject further.
"Well, what should our next move be?" He took off his overcoat and kicked it into the corner. "It's so hot here! Very uncomfortable." He wiped his brow.
"Did he give you any indication of which direction to go in?"

Aerie visibly relaxed and began to fiddle with her necklace. “Yes, Dorne. Doesn’t that just narrow everything down? But then, he has always had a thing for delegating ridiculous tasks to his employees and ensuring their efforts are repaid by an unmarked grave.” The anger and bitterness she had repressed for so long flared up within her, burning into her words with savage hatred. Then she caught herself.
“We will have to investigate ourselves,” she said finally.
