"He was well, your highness, the last time I saw him," the old fellow says with a bow. "Though he hustles through life now that he has two small children. His morning ritual of weapons training has been replaced by sitting on the floor with wooden toys."
"I have come to invite you as the Red Royce's honoured guest at his tourney at Storm's End. He asks that you join him in commemorating the peace between Westeros and Dorne, or your independence I suppose you'd call it. He'd like to offer you a seat at his high table, and a toast in your honour. Maybe also hunt in the Mistwood if you're keen, which is his favorite way to while the time."
"And of course he'd love to have some of the great knights of Dorne come as well, a great chance to see them action. We hear so much of them, but they so rarely leave Dorne."

She chuckled lightly. "I am certain Lucian and Elester will be thrilled to join in the tournament, and Elester is a fine hunter with the spear. I myself, sadly, am not as able at hunt or horse, or even at the hawk, but I will come to watch the tourney and join in the pageantry, as will my paramour." She looked toward a smiling, ebon-skinned Summer Island woman near the dais, then back at the old Lord, waiting to see if he'd respond. Some of the Andals were quite easily shocked, others more tolerant of other ways than theirs.

Lord Grandison, stuffy as he can be, might be shocked if he were of subtle enough mind to notice the passing glance. Instead, he is merely pleased to hear that she shall come.
"Outstanding, your highness. I shall inform the Redroyce. Will you need anything special for your accommodations? Most of the lords and knights shall live in their pavilions for the event, but Rhodri thought it would fit your station more to have an apartment in the Drum Tower."

Princess Emelia smiled warmly. "Lord Rhodri is too kind. I would be delighted to take up residence in such apartments as the Drum Tower has to offer, and I thank him for the honor he does to myself and Dorne." She inclined her head gracefully to the emissary.

"Thank you, your highness, for having me. I shall depart shortly for Storm's End, and we will prepare for your arrival." Lord Grandison bows on his way out. He manages to find a wine merchant before leaving Sunspear, and purchases a wagonful of Dornish Wine to bring back to Storm's End. OOC: Your apartments are ready yonder north.

A raven arrived in Sunspear, the maester untied the letter from the Ravens leg. It read: I, Callen Baratheon agree to abide by Aemon's proclamation for the time being. Dorne is yours Emelia Martell.

Emelia sat in the Sun Throne and motioned for the messenger to be brought into the room. "Greetings. Is my cousin Allard well?" she asked.

"Yes", replied the messanger, " your cousin is not only well, but he is King. My King told me that you two have been responding through ravens for a few weeks now. He just wanted me to know of your family's health and the health of the last Dragon."

"King, hm?" asked Emelia with a shrug. "I hope he doesn't lose his head, should he fail to make that stick, but no matter. I am fairly well, as are my brother and sister; my daughter is probably doing even better running around the Water Gardens with Shajura." She allowed a slight smile to crease her face.
"Yes, we've been corresponding by raven for a while now. I do not care to take sides in the current round of lord of the crossing, though. We fought to protect the Blackwoods and legitimize the Treaty, and now to destroy the Ironborn, not to play kingmaker."

Lucian walked casualy up the steps into the tower. Since his duel with Syrio he has not done much listen to tales of the ever raging wars, in every corner of Westeros accept his own. That and continous sparring with Elciron Sand and the training of Dornes armies. He wiped the sweat from his brow as he reached the doors to the throne room, he pushed them open hopeing to find his niece.

Emelia turned towards Lucian as her uncle entered the throne room, leaning back against the throne. "Greetings, Ser Lucian," she said with a slight, poised smile. "What brings you to the throne room?"

A party of Baratheon knights rode into Sunspear. When they were granted entrance into the castle of the Martells the lead rider stepped down. Ser Bronn pulled off his helmet, the other knights might have taken their armour off in this stifling heat, but habit had made him keep his on. When brought before Emelia he knelt and held out his hand. Clutched in his fist was a scroll bearing the royal seal. Inside it read:
"To Emelia Nymeros Martell, Princess of Dorne, Sun of the Rhoynar, and Protector of the Realm,
Twins have be born to Anya Baratheon, wife of Callen Baratheon. An invitation of a betrothal between Nymeria of House Martell and Rickon of House Baratheon is extended to you."
Grand Maester Nehmen, servent of Callen Baratheon, King of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Six Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm.

Emelia nodded. "Thank you, Ser Bronn. Feel free to take refreshment before returning, I need to get the family moving again."
