"I was referring to the men who killed Lord Irwyn, and they weren't foreigners." Radek said bluntly.

Ken looked slightly confused, but Trevor's eyes narrowed. "All reports were that Irwyn was killed in the crossfire," Trevor said evenly. "Sad to see the good old Butcher go, but he died bravely."

Radek eyes met Trevor's and he stared the man down. "I was there. I saw the body. We all did, when we took it home with us. Six quarrels fired from crossbows. Not a single other mark. The man fought hand to hand with their champion, and his only wounds came from crossbows. Crossbows fired by Lannisters." Radek said. He never raised his voice, nor did he look away.

Trevor stared as Radek spoke, and at his last words jumped to his feet. Ken followed. "Are you accusing Lannister soldiers of killing your precious Irwyn?" Trevor said angrily. "Can you back that accusation with proof, or are you just spoiling for a fight?"

Radek stayed seated.
"Six quarrels, ser. Not one, nor two stray bolts, but SIX BOLTS!" Radek raised his voice, but remained seated. He still had not broken Trevor's gaze.
"The Lord Hand was in among the Crownlanders. No one there could have loosed at him and not been seen. Darien Stone was among them, and he did not see those who fired their weapons, he told Lords Tarly and Blackbar as much. That leaves only the men of the Westerlands. Today a Lannister sits where Irwyn sat before he rode to the relief of the West." Radek said West as if it were a dirty word.
Radek stood and relaxed into a stance, "Now, I have accused no man, but everything I have told you is a stone hard fact, and if you call me a liar, than there will be blood this night."

Arwyn was close when she heard the Knights raised voice, "Were you there Ser Knight? Did you see the body or the men who shoot him?"

ooc: If Arywn hangs out around the soldiers campfire she's an even bigger dirty slut of a Tyrell than I thought.

OOC: Sorry I thought it was still riding along the Rose Road.
And she's 12.

Trevor drew his sword. Ken didn't even bother. "Liar," he snarled. "Traitor!" He pounced, and so did Trevor. As the fight became fierce, other Lannister guards blew their whistles, and pulled them apart. In words incoherent with rage, Trevor shouted out his accusations. A crowd of red cloaks gathered, their faces growing progressively darker as the accusations flew. Before Radek and his squire were attacked again by the ring of red cloaks, Captain Stafford himself appeared.
Tall, austere and steely eyed, the captain of the red cloaks listened with an impassive face as Trevor and Ken repeated their accusations. Then he eyed Radek coolly. "So this is how Far Reachmen repay hospitality, is it? By accusing their hosts of murder and treason? I am privately amused that you saw fit to accept wine from men you regarded as traitors and murderers, however misguided that notion is. However, westermen are not as uncouth as Far Reachmen. You have drunk our wine, and so you, your squire and the sparrow shall depart unmolested, at once. Now, in fact."

Radek had been unmoving like a rock as the Lannisters flew like ants from a hill.
"I have not tasted your wine Lion. Your man has called me a liar and a traitor, and I demand satisfaction. If your company wishes to avenge his death once we have fought, let them get in line. The brother is a holy man, and an innocent traveler, so I accept your offer of guest rite for him, but I'll accept no unearned courtesy. On guard, Ser Trevor."

Stafford raised an eyebrow. "You didn't take the wine? Clap this man in irons. If he resists, kill him." The red cloaks moved in.

Radek draws his sword, and Brother Renard stepped forward with his staff.
"I have demanded satisfaction for this man calling me a liar. I've no quarrel with anyone but him. But any man who lays hands on me will die tonight."
