Ser Gathor Tyrell sends an offer to Rhodri Royce to speak.

Ser Rhodri relays a message that he shall accept a parlay under a peace banner.

*Ser Gathor accepts the terms and rides out on the field with his knights riding behind him.*

Ser Rhodri rides to the field along with Lord Caron and Ser Piers Bettley, serving as representative of Lord Baldwin Lannister, and a handful of guards.

"We are prepared to accept your surrender, Ser Gathor. We bear you and your people no ill will; it is time to kneel to Westeros' true king, King Aegon Targaryen, without further bloodshed".

"Do you not remember who your king is? The Targaryens are madmen with no better claim the throne then King Robert did, I may consider it though, if you can guarantee my daughter’s safety."

[Bunny-Rabbit]

"I do not believe any one wishes your daughter harm, Gathor. We can grant that. Is that the only condition for the Tyrells to surrendor?" Ser Piers looked pleasantly surprised.

Glancing hard at Rhodri, Ser Piers adds, "We can't make that promise for your daughter's husband though."

Lord Sylas Caron stepped forward into the discussion, with five storm knights trailing him. He was brightly dressed in black nightingales on yellow. The Songlord kept a firm hand on a beautiful longsword that looked worn but still powerful sharpened steel.

"Aye", he said as he smiled, "Prince Callen will die beside his father".

"That is what I stated in a less crude and antagonistic way." Ser Piers rubbed his eyes with frustration.

"House Tyrell did fight for the Targaryens side but that was Mace and he fought for Aries the Mad neither one of them are here. Rodrick is our king now and the realms where at peace."

Quickly Ser Piers said, "Why discuss useless hypotheticals. But I guarantee no matter what state she is found your daughter's safety."

"As for the past, leave it there. We all know it but we are here to talk about the present."

[Lord Rhodri Arryn]

"And the present offers two choices: you can bend the knee, and maintain the might and grandeur of House Tyrell, guarantee your safety and your command of the Reach. Or, you can resist. If so, Highgarden will fall, and you and your kin will either die by the sword or surrender in shame, likely to be exiled or sent to the wall."

"So what is it, Ser Gathor: do you want to be Lord of Highgarden after your father, or do you want the cold exile of being a Night's Watch recruit? Do you want your children to live in this bountiful land, or do you want their lives in danger as war is waged around them?"

"Put down your sword, make peace with us, and the Realm will be saved."

Rhodri extends a hand to Ser Gathor.

"Vary well, Westeros should be ruled but a westeroi king not some foreign invader, they are nothing like us, hells the Iron Born know us better, and you want to give up so much just for him? No, Lannister and all the other houses would be better suited with Rodrick at least then he could still honor our houses with marriage while the Targaryens would just fuck their sisters to bring us the next Aries or Maegor why would you risk the kingdom like that?"

"I at least want to understand why you suport them, the Arryns and the Lannisters aidded Robert the Kingslayer was a Lannister after all."
