Roose sat and waited, watching the door as people whispered about the new Skagosi arrivals.

250 of the warriors were set up outside the gates, but Mag led his 50 most trusted and important men towards the Great Hall. His two wives, Valla and Lhyema, were by his side, as was his loyal mirrikai, Burk. Gariss escorted the beautiful Tyla, and a small skinny girl rode in on huge Maez Stonehead's shoulders. Ryk was also in the van, with Olf Stonesoar and Cudge Magnar just behind.
The doors were thrown open a guard announced them, as Mag stepped into the widest feast hall he had ever seen.

The whispers grew more intense, some in excitement, others in apprehension. Roose stood from his seat at the end of the great hall. "I am Lord Roose Stark." Roose said, in the tounge of the First Men, which he had learned during a few expeditions north of the Wall. "Welcome to Winterfell."

Mag stood, proud and strong, and then removed his crown, as did his father and Ryk. The three men, Tyla, and Mag's two wives stalked to Roose's great chair. They tossed their crowns on the floor, letting them clang silently on the floor.
They bowed. "Greetings, Lord Roose Stark. I am Mag Stane, Lord of Deepdown," Mag answered, in his best common tongue. "I thank you, Lord Roose Stark, for having us here in your stone hall. We come to make peace forever, and to eat and drink with you. The First Men blood flows through both of our people. We are brothers."

Roose stood. "You are welcome at Winterfell." He motioned to Cassel who stood with Roose's sword in hand. "You will remove your men from Karhold, and return all people's taken from there henceforth. Is that understood?"

"We have no Stoneborn at Karhold. But it is understood." Mag turned and repeated Roose's request in the old tongue to his Skagosi.

"And you are prepared to swear fealty to Houses Stark of Winterfell and Baratheon of Storm's End?" Roose asked.

Mag nodded. "We are prepared, Lord Roose Stark. It will be as it has been for thousands of years." Although Mag had read of it, he was not sure where Storm's End was, and he had no doubt the name meant nothing to his men.

"Then take your places on the dias." Roose said. "Break bread at my table, and partake of salt and know that you are guests of mine."

Mag turned and repeated the words in the old tongue. For the first time, the Skagosi let smiles creep across their face, and the many warriors took a seat on the feast tables. They eyed the food, a little unsure of themselves, it being a different sort than they were used to. They warmed to the wine and ale quick enough, however. Mag, Ryk, Gariss, and the three women, one of them Tyla Stane, took their places on the dais. Valla and Lhyema, with their stone necklaces, sat on either side of Mag, barely clad, beautiful. Tyla outshone them all, however; also thinly clad, her beautiful tan skin caught the eye of every man. She looked at Roose Stark and smiled. Mag took the closest seat available to Roose, while Burk lay at his feet, as did the little girl they call Finny Stoneknife.

Edmure, Ser Nathan and two men wearing the sun of Karhold arrive at Winterfell. Edmure sees the feast and the Skagos host. Edmure looks unhappy with the words said by Roose to the leader and Nathan is openly glaring at the Skagos man.

Olander Reed and half a dozen men in green-grey livery arrive at the feast. The Crannogmen had not been called to fight by their liege lord, and respectfully took their seat at the far end of the hall.

Roose sees the crannogmen and has Cassel invite Olander to the dias and invites his men to take their place among the tables.

Olander does as he's bid, and the small band of men from the Neck take seats further in the room.
"Milord Stark," Reed says with a formal nod.

Edmure takes a seat in the middle of the table. Nathan sits to his right and the two men on the next two seats on Lord of Karholds left.
