"But here this, should I require reinforcements in the south you will not hesitate." Lord Stark looked around at his men. "You are all dismissed." They turned to leave. The last one out was Ser Nathan. Before he could leave, Roose spoke up from the heart tree. "Never question me in front of my lords...ever again...."
Roose knelt before the heart tree, his eyes closed in silent prayer. "You are a good man Ser Nathan, an honourable one...now go."

"I am also a Karstark man." Before the young lord could reply Nathan leaves.

Hearing this Sylas chuckles darkly. "No...you're a Tyrell."

The next day a small group of riders enters Winterfell. The maester goes down to meet them along with Ser Rogers. The knight helps the leader of her horse. "Lady Blackwood, a pleasure to have you here with us. How have you been faring since the disappearance of Lord Bolton?" Ser Rogers said the Lord of the Dreadfort's name with open contempt.

Roose and five belegured men, all heavily wrapped in fur, made their way into Winterfell. Roose's direwolf trotted through the snow before him. A few days before, the young Lord of Winterfell had finally named him. "Blizzard, it's an apt enough name for him." The adolescent lord said.
As they entered the courtyard and dismounted Roose pulled a scarf away from his face. Though the walls of the famed northern castle protected him from the wind, the sharp cold still bit at him.

The thin and tall Maester walked out into the bitter cold courtyard. "Welcome home Lord."

"News." Roose said, dismounting. "Is there anything from the Wall?"

"It is as quiet as winter here my lord." He looked north for awhile, "Quiet as death..."

Roose rubbed his chin. "Then I'll have to head there myself. Ready some fresh mounts with fresh food."

The maester nods, and walks away to the stables.

On his way to the stable the maester comes across a man who he has not seen before, the man says "i am Theoroy equal and loyal friend to Teffaron who has pleadged an oath to the wall, i am here to stay for a while, can you point me in the direction of the lord here? i would like to speak with him"

The maester, obviously confused, simply responds, "Lord Stark has gone to the Wall. I expect you can find your way North?"

Theoroy, ignores the jest and looks the maester directly in the eyes, he says "Well if lord Stark is not here, maybe i'll just take over Winterfell and feed your corpses to the wolves. How does that sound?" The maester clearly agitated asks "who are you, and what do you want?" Theoroy says "you already know my name, i am a wildling from beyond the wall looking for a better future, now if you would take me to whoever is in charge of this pile of rock we can both get on with pur buisness."

Ser Preston Rogers had been talking across the courtyard with a few of his men, leaning on their spears. He cocks his head to the side and looks at Teffaron. Walking up behind the maester he puts a hand on his shoulder. "Careful traveler, keep talking like that and you'll get no where at all."

Theoroy looks round at ser Preston Rogers and asks "i presume you are the castles protector while lord stark is away" "well i have a proposistion for you. I would like to join Lord stark and defend winterfell with his guard, i am second to Teffaron (who has joined the wall) and he feels that this may help me and him have a taste of life south of the wall, i am a noteorthy ranger looking for someone to hire me, you could call me a sell-sword, well a sell-bow. What do you say"
