After a few more moments of silence passing, Olander speaks up again, through gritted teeth. "My lords, I somehow gain the notion that Milord Stark is expecting us within. Mayhaps he'll play the curtious lord inside?" With that the crannogman spins on his heel and marches into the great hall.

Mag Stane nodded. "Let us go to stone castle." He jumped back atop his mirrikai, and he and the warriors he had brought entered Winterfell.

"You would think Roose Lord would be more welcoming," Ryk growled in the old tongue. "Some Lord he is."

Maleagant entered the great hall of Winterfell, looking around. Not much has changed since the last feast. He saw the gathered guests, and ofcourse Roose Stark, the young lord of Winterfell. He went to him with his guards, trying to spot the wolf as he made a little bow. "My lord, congratulations with the wedding. A marriage is truly a big step in a man's life." And i have had the pleasure of meeting your lady wife to. Best hope the arrogant bitch doesn't give you any dreams.

Olander and his twenty and five crannogman entourage silently take their place in the middle of the Great Hall.

Flail Burley, Battle Axe Burley, and Burley Bastard Sword see Olander, and make there way over, pushing men out of the way to take their seats.
"Reed, It is good to be seeing you again," says the old man, his hair tied back with a length of blue cord.

The shadows of an uncharacteristic grin play at the corners of the crannogman's lips. "And you, Burely," he says with a low nod.
"Eat any other frogs while I was away?"

"No, alas, with you gone from Winterfell we found ourselves overrun with frogs, and snakes, and lizards of every kind. Perhaps now that you are here this plague will be abetted." Burly grinned in jest.

Olander shook his head, gaze never leaving the eldest Burley. "I fear I must disappoint you; I'm after a far meatier meal than that."

Roose finally stood. "My lords of the north, I welcome you to Winterfell. Please, break bread and salt with me, as is the traditional food of welcome."

Nathan is calm at is event and is even smiling as he eats with his wife and lord. Edmure is also the same. The boy is now 13 and starting to look much more grown up.

Before he touched his food, Maleagant rised and scraped his throat. Idiots, am i the only one who uses his brains? If wine can be poisoned, why can't food? "My lords, lord Stark, before we start the feast, i would like to inquire about the wine. Many rumours of poisonings have reached us lately, even at the last tournament, targeting highborn guests. Rumours tell it's the dornish princess taking revenge. We have not participated in the dornish war, but to be safe, let us check the wine, and the food to."

Olander felt a bemusement in his heart that his face held no privy to. The Lord of the Dreadfort was wise to check for poison, albeit in such a feeble way. If anyone had truly wished to poison him or any of the lords in this room, they would have done so in a much less obvious way.
"Lord Maleagant words strike true," he said coolly as he rose. "It would be wise to guard against such a deceptive attack. Who knows what rats left behind by the Apostate scuttle about."

Maleagant raised his eyebrow when he heard how the woman talked to him. He scratched his ear, a secret signal for Berenger and Beringar to be extra cautious. He was not the only one that had heard the tone of her voice, already he saw ser Dwayne whispering to some men, and looking at him. Maleagant himself showed no expression as he looked at her. Nothing foul? I see something foul right before me. Stupid bitch, did you make the wine and food? If not, shut the hell up. He knew better than to insult the future wife of his lord though, and kept his voice as polite as possible. "Mayhaps the lady has not heard of the recent happenings," he said, "but at a feast not much different from this one dozens of men, women and children where poisoned, and many have not survived it. As far as i know the walls of Winterfell do not have the power to cancel the effects of poison, therefore it would be unwise to eat and drink without checking it first."

Roose shrugged, and picked up a slice of bread from the counter. Putting some wine in a dish he put it down on the floor beside him along with the bread. He whistled for one of the many curs walking among the tables, watched, and waited.
