100 warriors, carrying large chests and some riding proud on their mirrikai, approach the walls. A few women, all barely clad despite the cold weather, ride with the company. Three proud men ride out front, all bare chested.

A group of hundred hundred horsemen where riding towards Winterfell. Maleagant Bolton rode in the center of the column, with his wife and his guards. All the wedding gifts where held in the rear, while ser Dwayne rode in the van. Maleagant Bolton was wearing his black feathered cloak, while his wife looked stunning in her green dress. Ser Dwayne looked like quite the nobleman, since he wasn't wearing armour for a change. But he did have the warhammer made of stone hanging on his back, and his new sigil was printed on his clothes. But as they approached the castle walls, they saw another group waiting. Skagosi appearantly, and they noticed three men riding out. Maleagant Bolton, lady Padma Tyrell and ser Dwayne Ironhammer did the same thing, and spurred their horses forwards, as did Berenger and Beringar.

Mag regarded the riders with indifference, until their features came into view. He reared back on his huge mirrikai and smiled. "Lord Eagle!" he called from afar, in his typical broken common tongue. "Come tell these guard men to let us in the stone castle!"

Maleagant laughed when he heard the huge man bellowing "lord Eagle". He and the others went forwards to offer their greetings. He glanced over Mag's bare chest, but didn't show his surprise. I'm here freezing my ass off, and these guys walk around bare-chested. The Skagosi sure are full of surprises. When Maleagant had greeted Mag and his friends, he told ser Dwayne to go to the guardsmen at the gates.
Ser Dwayne left, but not before turning to Mag Stane, pointing at the stone warhammer on his new sigil. "A promise is a promise," he said, before he rode to the gates.
Maleagant then talked to Mag. "You already know me and the silent twins behind me," he said. "But this here is my wife, Lady Padma Tyrell." "An honor to finally meet the man Maleagant has told me so much about," the brown-haired beauty replied. He looks even stronger than Maleagant told me. And more handsome to.
Meanwhile ser Dwayne talked to the guardsmen. "Both Mag Stane and lord Maleagant Bolton are here for the wedding with their men, please inform lord Roose."

"Ironhammer," Mag said, bowing his head out of respect. Turning to Maleagant, he said, "Good to see you again. And you Silent Giant Twins, good to see you again." He looked at the woman. "Hello, Dreadfort Lord Wife."

Lady Padma smiled at the man as her husband dismounted. Maleagant stretched a little bit when he got on the ground. Damn, my ass feels sore. Berenger and Beringar dismounted to, and took their places behind their lord. "Now where is this to-be bride of Roose," Maleagant asked Mag, "i would love to see the one our young lord has lost his heart to." Ha, as if love is the reason for this marriage. "Oh, and the one i met last time. Hmmm, Ginny, was it? No, Finny. Yes, Finny the nosebreaker and bear-tamer, have you brought her to?"

Mag smiled. "Finny Stoneknife is here, with the herd," he said, motioning back to the mounted party behind them. "As is Tyla, bride of Roose."
Mag dismounted from his beast and introduced his two companions. "You seen these men last feast, but did not meet them, Lord Eagle," Mag said. He grabbed the hand of the first man and held it up, grinning. "This is Ryk Magnar, Bloodhawk. He is good man." He moved to the other man, but treated him reverently and did not grab his hand. "This man is Gariss Stane, Magnar of Driftwood. He famous man and warrior. And he my father."

Good, Maleagant thought, it's nice to see that little kid with the mouth of a grown-up again. Tyla Stone didn't really interested him, he had only asked for her to be polite. He greeted the other men though. "Ah yes, the Bloodhawk," he said as he gave the Ryk Magnar a small bow, and looked at the big bird perched on his shoulder. "Mag has mentioned you at the previous feast, it is good to meet you atlast." I really need to speak to this man in person. Oh well, plenty off oppertunities to do it at the feast, i guess. Then he turned to Mag's father. He could see the resemblance between the two. For this man, he bowed much deeper. "Father of Mag Stane, i am honored to meet you." "But this is the first time i meet them in person," he said, turning to Mag, "do they speak the common tongue?"

Mag smiled. "No, they do not." He turned and translated to each man. Ryk bowed to Maleagant but Gariss merely stared at him.
Ryk said something to Mag in the old tongue. Mag smiled and turned to Maleagant. "Bloodhawk wants to know why you called Lord Eagle."

"Then you should answer him," Maleagant told Mag, "you are the only one that calls me lord Eagle." Well, next to Jack Lordsbane that is, but he's dead. "But you can tell the man most people know me as the vulture. Tell him many people seem to think i look like a vulture. I recall Finny saying i look like a bird last time, so your people seem to think the same thing. But tell the man i consider it as a good nickname, since i like vultures. And tell him i like his bird to, and want to know if the bird has a name."

Mag turned and repeated Maleagant's words at length. Mag turned back. "He said vulture is good bird. He said a mix between vulture and eagle is the greatest ever, if you understand his meaning. He said his bird has no name. It is not his bird; it is simply... him."

Lord Edmure Karstark came riding in with Ser Nathan Sunshield. Edmure avoided looking at the Skagos people.

Olander Reed at been silently observing the Bolton and Skagosi interactions on high from the castle ramparts. Slipping down the battlements to the ground, he made his way out through the guard gate.
"Lords Malegant and Mag, a welcome sight," he said in a quiet voice, turning his attention to the newly arrived Karstark, "As well you, Lord Edmure."
Olander reached up and pulled down the hood of his dark grey cloak. Underneath he was wearing black leather boots and black linen leggings, and a fine green-grey doublet embroidered with black-and-silver thread.
His eyes uncloaked and free to roam, Olander began gazing between the Skagosi women. "Which is Milord Stark's bride?" he asked simply.

"Hello. What is your name?" Mag said. He had seen the small man at the last feast, but never met him.

He said his bird has no name. It is not his bird; it is simply... him." A Skinchanger, i was hoping he was. Ha, this day has just gotten a lot more interesting."I do understand what he means," Maleagant told Mag, "a vulture has this cunning and intelligence, while the eagle has this magnificent strenght and beauty." Magnificent... Mag the magnificent, that has a certain ring to it, now that i think about it. I'm saving that one for later. "Each bird has attributes that the other one lacks, and truly, a mix between the two would be perfect. Please tell him his words contain great wisdom." OOC: Just picture this was said just before Olander's arrival.
