Finny looked up from under the table. "I saw a bear! He was big but I scared him!" She looked at Maleagant. "Do they have bears where you are? Because if there are any I know how to scare them!"

Mag and Ryk both laughed heartily at these words. Finny Stoneknife was becoming one of their favorite girls.

Olf sat next to his cousin Maez on the low end of the table. A serving wench was trying to flirt with Maez, but he was not named Stonehead for nothing. Olf getting tired of his cousin's obliviousness decided to take things in his own hand as he carried the squeeling and giggling serving wench out of the hall. He had heard of the hot springs and decided to use them.

Roose leaned over to Cassel. "I'll be gone for about an hour, talking to the Stanes and that damnable Tyrell." Roose said, nodding to Edmure. "Keep the Skagosi and Karstarks on the other sides of the room."

Roose stood. "Lord Edmure, Lord Gariss, may I ask for a moment of your time?"

Edmure nods and walks over to Lord Stark. Nathan follows closely.

Gariss does not understand the common tongue, and Mag repeats the question to him. Gariss waves his hand away and says something in the old tongue to Mag. Shrugging, Mag rises and follows Roose.

Bardan nods to Roose, "yes, my lord."
Bardan keeps a vigilant watch ver the hall, careful for any sign of a fight brewing.

The door's at the back open and a few guards come in, warming their hands. The new shift heads back out. One of them leans his spear on the wall and goes and joins Bardan.
"'Lo nuncle. How goes the feast?" Robin said.

"Uneasy," he said simply, watching the stand off between Karstark and Skagosi.
"How was your watch?"

"Cold, cold and boring." Robin says, hallowing out a trencher. He gestures to the Skagosi with a butter knife. "Now there's an interesting lot."

Bardan nods, "it has been many a year since the Skagosi came to Winterfell. These are strange brutish people. Why would they attack Karhold and then come here to swear fealty? Though I have heard them speak and they do not seem to have the wits the gods gave a toad, so they probably think their behaviour perfectly normal."

Robin shrugged. "They may not have much sense but none can deny that Roose Stark has picked himself one beautiful bride." He gestured to Tyla. "Or so rumour has it anyways."

Bardan snorts, "I would hope that our lord knows that the last thing he needs is to marry one of those wildling women styling themself princesses in flaunt of his rule. He needs to marry a Tallhart or a Manderly, he needs to get the great houses of the north who have been shaken by the rebellion back on his side."

Robin shrugged. "Speaking of Manderlys, the last I heard some Red Priest was roasting them alive at White Harbour." He filled his trencher with hot, steaming, stew.
