The Tyrell host left White Harbor early the morning after the parlay, and made quickly for the road to Cerwyn Castle.

Lord Barret Tyrell rode beside most of his generals and a few of his friends. His new acquaintance, Ser Seth Greyjoy was invited to ride alongside them as well.
"Well, Seth, how do you feel the situation in White Harbor went?"

"Extremely quickly. It was quite surprising. I half expected to be set upon by a thousand screaming soldiers." He laughed. "But it seemed to have resolved itself, didn't it. No violence really."
He tapped his bow. "But I think I might have survived long enough to shoot one or two of my arrows into their ranks."
"And you, Lord Barret," He said. "How do you think it went?"

Barret let loose an odd laugh and said, "It was my first negotiation of the sort, so I've got no real indicator." Changing the topic completely Barret asked Seth, "What do you look for in women?"

Seth was taken aback by the question and laughed nervously. "Asking my opinion on a woman, Lord? Who has caught your eye?" He scratched the stubble on his face.

Barret looked at Seth in mock-surprise, "I don't ask your opinion of a woman for me, I am simply curious. I find it to be a step two men must bridge so that they need not fall over the same woman. Not to mention it says very much of a man-- his taste in women."

"Well..." He began, choosing his words carefully. He didn't want to offend the Lord. "I prefer a woman who is kind, I suppose. Loving. And of course, pretty. She must be pretty. But kindness is also very important." His face took on a dreamy quality. "That would truly be the perfect woman."
He caught himself and shifted in his saddle. "Ahem. You know, that old bone."

"Aha", Barret said, easing his tired horse for a moment. "My love is fantastic, a bit rude at times, but I cannot find myself to be as good as her."

"My Lord?" Seth asked, confused.

Barret realized Seth knew nothing of what he spoke and so he clarified what he said. "Olivia Caswell, were it another world where politics did not matter, she'd be my wife."

Seth was quiet for a moment. "As you are a Warden, I believe it would be in your power to do so, Lord. I wish I could marry my dream woman as well. But perhaps this world is not meant for romantics, but cold, calculating strategy. Marriages being only for gain."
The knight looked sad.

Barret quickly corrected him that he was not a Warden- that was his cousin Tallahar. "I hope you are not correct in your estimations, my friend. Have you ever met my cousin Alysanne?"

"I have not, Lord." He was embarrassed for having confused the two Tyrells. "Why do you mention it?" He thought he knew what the Lord was leading up to, but decided to play the advocate of the Stranger.

"Oh, she seems to fairly well fit the descriptions of the lady you seek. When we venture south oncemore, I shall introduce the two of you...that is, after we intake large amounts of wine and warm food." Barret let out another laugh, less odd than the first.
"Oh, and call me Barret. Or really anything besides "my Lord". There is no need for formality here."

A scout rides up to Barret, "My Lord eight hundred men are marching down the road towards us."
