Ser Humfrey returned, looking very sorrowful. "I regret to inform you, Lord, that I could not find any grappling hooks." He bowed his head in reverence. "I have failed you, and I am sorry."

"Try finding a ship," responded Aethan. "They're certain to have grapples aboard."

Humfrey looked offended. "I don't take orders from bastards." He said, not venomously, just, matter-of-factly. "Only from my Commanders and Lieges."

With that he galloped off toward the mess tent.

"Do you think I care about you, you stupid fool? I should cut your head off for being so stupid." By now Tallahar is standing yelling at Hunfrey fully in the face all the rage built up over the night is being released. His sword is still drawn.

Oswald Florent was sitting outside a tent, stuffing his mouth full of cooked frog, when he heard the Warden ask for men to follow him to Winterfell. He wiped his mouth with his sleeve and then rose to find the Lord.

Oswald was rotund, with a bland, oval face. His wide blue eyes looked like two sapphires. His thick, wavy, charcoal-colored hair was worn in a style that reminded a fluttering flag. He found his way up to Tallahar and when he stood before him.

"I'll help you in this" He eyed the others that had also volunteered with a apperant dislike upon his face,especially Humfrey
"You need someone else other than yourself that has something that resembles a brain"

Aethan looked at Oswald. "Something superficially resembling a brain would be of little use," he responded. "Meanwhile, everyone here -has- a brain."

Ser Humfrey could not hear the Warden's words because of the hunger raging through him as he trotted towards the food he would soon consume.

Having to turn his attention from the fool The Dawn Raider looks to this new comer with burning hatred in his eyes, "Can you fight or are you stupid like this one."

Oswald looked back at Aethan and shook his head.

"I know that everyone here has a brain, but I'm not sure everyone knows how to use it in a proper way"

He turned away and answered Tallahar.

"I know how to use a sword and axe when needed. I've killed many in my days."

Aethan nodded. "There I'll agree with you. Don't trust that boy to keep you alive, that's for certain."

He shrugged and looked at Aethan with a unconcerned look upon his face.

"The only one I trust to keep me alive is me. And that's all I need"

"Good we ride on the morrow."

"And too you Ser Ugly there shall be no fighting or I will cut your head off."

Aethan looked at Tallahar. "I must wonder who you are speaking to, as I am no Ser. And you brought me along to fight." He shrugged placidly. "Either way, I have no need to fight you or my companions on this journey...but don't waste your breath threatening me."

"I dont not threaten I promise. If you wish to leave do so i do not need Ugly Sellswords that are useless to me so SHut up and listen to your better's."

Aethan looked at Tallahar and shrugged. "I have chosen to go with you. And I have been listening to you for the past hour. I am still listening. I am hearing little of value." His inflappable monotone continued, which had to be even more of an irritant to Tallahar. "Regardless, we had better get some sleep for the morning."
