Seeing Lord Jayson Plumm and Lord Danforth Yew approach Lord Rindwynd and offer a respectful salute.
Jayson says, "Lord Rindwynd, good to see you have arrived. We are now in your command. I have five hundred now, the rest should file into ranks over the next month or so."
Lord Danforth adds, "It will be a great honor of serving under a man of your vigor. Why I heard you lead a counter-charge into the ranks of the Baratheon Scum at the Battle of Casterly Rock." Yew smiles brightly.

"Greetings to you my lords. Um Lord Yew I wasn't at Casterly Rock for the battle I think you may of mistaken me perhaps for one of the vale knights or one of the knights swore to the Dragon king. But anyway its good to have the both of you here."

Yew shakes his head, "No I am quite sure it was you. On the left flank of Lord Hightower's van. I hear you were brilliant. Took down Lord Peevely in single combat you did. Is it true that you still have his right hand in a box in your bed chambers." Yew gives Rindwynd a sly look.

Ser Brandan Buckler arrives leading an advance party of the Stormland knights and scouts. This group had left directly from Casterly Rock; the larger army had to travel from the Stormlands, a longer ride. The Stormshield, as he is known, seeks out Lord Rindwynd to notify him of his arrival.
"Lord Rindwnyd, greetings. I bring a hundred horse; thousands more will follow."

Donal crest's the top of a hill and looks down with some surprise at the scene before him. Tents, horse lines and knights are strewn across the ground near Winterfell but are obviously not an attacking force. From the banners evident, there appears to be westermen, stormlanders and even soldiers from the Reach here! Curious, he rides forth to the camp with Garrett Redfort, Lord Hightower and his squires to investigate further. Spotting his brother he shouts out "Rindwynd! What goes on here?"

Rindwynd turns and hears his half-brother "Brother, what brings you to the north. I was sent by the king's hand lord Baldwin to lead a force against the wildlings."

"Eh? I mentioned the problem to Lady Royce before I left, but I'm surprised the king has moved so swiftly. Well, I cannot stay brother, I am bound for the Wall and that is where you shall find me, and the wildlings if they are to attack."
Donal returned to the head of his column and motioned them north.

"What?" the Stormshield asks. "Why not join your force to ours? Together we will have strength no wildling host could hope to match."

Donal turned in his saddle. "Ser...Buckler, is it not? I think I saw you at Lord Lannister's tourney before..." Donal shook his head to clear it of the bad memories "Regardless, I believe that our best hope is to hold the Wall, rather than stay here and wait while it's defenders die. So I go, alone if need be. You and the others are welcome to follow, or to stay behind and wait for enough men to bolster your courage, I care not. I rely on myself, my men and in R'hllor. My destiny lies to the North and so I shall meet it." Donal kicked his horse into a canter and rode off, cape flowing, as his column began it's journey towards Castle Black.
