The Hand's Encampment

[Fel]

Ser Lucas looks at Marten and smiles. "Yes, your house certainly deserves praise for not turning traitor."

[Horas]

Horas looks up wearily at his plague of visitors.

"You first, Ser Marten," the Hand says, "What do you require?"

[Maester Maurin]

"Well..it seems that situation went out of the control....I am ready to serve you, My Hand.... but what happens now? The situation is a bit diffiicult for me.. for personal reasons."- He speaks after a moment`s hesitation.

[Horas]

"You refer to your betrothed?" Horas asks. "Her family has committed a serious offence."

[Maester Maurin]

"Of course, but I believe it was the crime of Lord Lyas, she was just an instrument in his plots. Lord Lyas has tempted me to treachery, promising me Lordship in the North, but I stand loyal to the realm and to you. "-He speaks a bit fervently.

"I understand that Lord Lyas will be punished severely for his crimes...but what shall happen with the rest of his family. What if Eleana were to become Lannister after all? Is the verdict in favor of Erik condemmning her? I personally believe that that madman Euron could have been the one to rape her."

[Horas]

"Your loyalty is admirable," Horas says, "both to the realm and your betrothed. I am convinced Lord Erik is innocent, but I am still somewhat unsure of Lady Elaena's role in all of this. Do you think she can be trusted, Marten?"

[Maester Maurin]

"Yes, my Lord, she is innocent in this."-Marten speaks firmly.

[Fel]

Felryn Harlaw arrives.

Sargon enters the camp, having kept on the outskirts during the battle. The Ironborn captain makes his way towards the Hand’s tent.

[Horas]

"Perhaps you are correct, Ser Marten, but guilty or not the lady has a strong bond with her family. If you marry her, she is your responsibility. She will not return to the Dreadfort, nor correspond with her family -- I suggest you monitor her letters. If she helps her uncle in any way, she will be guilty of treason, and there is only one way I can deal with that. If I were husband, I would make most certain the lady Elaena does not engage in any such activities."

Felryn and Lucas Harlaw are admitted to the tent.

"Lord Felryn, Ser Lucas," Horas acknowledges them.

[Maester Maurin]

"Of course My Lord.... though surely the fall of Lyas wouldn`t mean the eradication of House Bolton? What is to happen with the imprisoned members of this House? I assume that the new Lord of Dreadfort will be someone chosen the Crown?" -Marten asks, feeling a bit uneasy.

[Horas]

"Likely," Horas answers.

[Maester Maurin]

Marten nods.

"Someone with ties to House Bolton would a wise choice, I think. Is there anything else required from me, My Lord Hand?" -Marten notices that Lord Horas is in no mood for lenghty conversations.

[Fel]

"Well done, Blackwood, dealing with that treachorous bastard, a pity he got away," growled Felryn as he entered.

"Now what of the Bolton girl? Do you have her and when is she to be executed?"

[Maester Maurin]
