Erik looks at him for a moment, then just starts laughing. It goes on for a good minute, before he finally manages to greet his guest.
"This is the last place I expected you to be...Lord Greyjoy. Sit down, have some wine. Tell me what brings you to this corner of the world, when last I knew you were off searching for Euron Greyjoy's dragon horn."

"Herman" glanced around. He looked at Erik then and winked. "Let's be a little quiet about whom I happen to be, shall we?" He eyed the wine. "I'll take it all. I have been sober for much to long, and it happens that that is very unfortunate."
With a wide sweep, he plopped himself down in a chair, crossing on leg over his knee at the calf.
"Though it has been some time..." He said, almost as an afterthought. "I see you are accused of rape. Nasty business." He snatched up a cup and held it out to be filled.

Erik pours 'Herman' some wine, as well as a glass for himself, and leaves the bottle on a table next to his guest.
"Yes, indeed. I do hope Sargon enjoyed his time with the girl, to put me through this much trouble. But what name are you going by, these days? And did you ever find that horn?"

Herman laughed.
"No. I didn't find the horn, didn't have enough time. On the journey, I got knocked on the dome and spilled overboard. Fucking bit of luck, that. Had my identity a bit wrong for a while. Thought I was a man named Pate, riding around with these forest bandits. Now I'm Herman, a hedgeknight whom hasn't thought of a proper surname yet." He drained the glass and set it down in front of him, sighing audibly.
"Though, I have recently contacted the Bloodsalt. Found them with a bit of work, thanks to a certain friend of mine. Currently docked in a little fishing town in the Vale. Funny."

"Well, damn. Quite the trip. You see Seth at the tourney?" Erik asks, sipping at his wine.

Horas leads Sargon Greyjoy in and motions for him to sit down. "Tell me the true story of what happened, Captain Sargon," Horas says, his voice cool. "If you make any misguided attempts like your friend Orkwood, you will be joining him on the morrow."
------------------------
Ser Lucas Harlaw is admitted into the tent. "Ser Lucas," the Hand greets him.

One of the guards takes a long look at Herman when he arrives, then turns and leaves.

"I have seen him quite a bit. Dogging his footsteps in some cases. Seems he has a few more friends since I last spoke to him." He winked. "Quite attractive."

"Aerie, or their shadowcats? Attractive, certainly, not to mention likely to take his head off in his sleep. Shame he left, I don't know what that was about."
Erik leans forward, and says in a low voice so the guards can't hear him, "But that's not what I really wanted to talk about. Let's say this trial does go against me. You've broken out of worse than this, right?"

Herman smiled. "Yes. I have. Though certain situations allowed it easier." No reason to mention the design as to his advantage.
"You hoping to get free?" He asked, almost inaudible. "I can talk with some of my companions, and if things turn South, I will help you out."

"I'd appreciate it. 'Course, I still like my odds. But we'll see what happens, aye?" He returns to a normal volume, "But anyway, did you enjoy the proceedings? It turned into quite the show, there at the end."

"Yes. One mistake of letting just anyone attend a trial. I mean, if I was allowed, that is a lack of foresight." He smiled roguishly. "Though I will be content to believe that it turned a fair few against the Boltons. I have been following the events pretty closely. I hear Seth already has some disposition against them." He laughed. "Noble ass."

"I certainly hope you're right. Though from what I heard from Felryn outside, there's going to be war no matter what happens in the trial. Good. I get out of here, and I'll personally make sure that the Dreadfort is burned, the Bolton women drowned, and the Bolton men flayed and then drowned. I'll even carry barrels of salt water halfway across the North just so it hurts worse."
Erik's fists are clenched, and he takes a swig of wine before continuing, "Hell, even if I'm convicted and take the Black, I'll let as many wildlings through the Wall as want to, so long as they promise to pay special attention to those fucking Boltons."

Herman laughed merrily. "My, that is a plan. In fact, that might be the perfect plan. Perhaps I should talk to my friends on the Wall. They might be willing to do that in any case." He looked around the tent. "I wonder where Horas is at in this place? I should like to speak with him."

"Next tent over, I believe. Could always invite him over, have a fine little party."

"Yes, perhaps that would work out wonderfully." He smiled. "So, how is Bear Island? I heard rumor you're the new Lord. Fancy digs, no?"
