Theon nods to Seth, "Aye, that will be an interesting one. Though, until they have an archery contest held on a longship moving at full speed, we will never have a true test of my own skill." He winked.
Then he turned to Aerie, a slight grin curling up the sides of his mouth. "And they say Greenlander women are meak and uninteresting looking, clearly they have never met Aerie Blackwood. I am Theon of House Goodbrother, many call me Godswind."

Aerie supressed an amused laugh and said instead, "I'm glad I have taken part in expelling such unfounded rumors, Godswind." Nemesis flicked her tail lazily and stared at Godswind with piercing, yellow eyes like glowing amber.

Theon laughed. "Aye, though the other Ironborn would never believe me. I believe you must come with me on a tour of the Islands as proof."

Seth watched the exchange, a little amused.

"I've always wanted to visit the Iron Islands," Aerie said amiably, stroking her shadowcat's head, "but preferably not as proof of something. I want to cross those bridges suspended over the sea. I've heard it's thrilling."

"Well then, it is decided," Theon said promptly, "my ship the Drowned Justice will be sailing back there after the tourney, and I will be staying at Pyke, so we can see how well the Greenland girl can balance on those dangerous bridges."

"But I know nothing of the Ironborn," Aerie protested insipidly, amusement tilting in her eyes, "and you know very little of me. I might surprise and embarrass you." Nemesis emmitted a low rumble deep in her throat that could have been either purr or growl.

Theon put on a confused air. "That would be the purpose of a tour, would it not, Aerie? To learn more of the unique people of the Iron Islands."
"I am a man who is hard to embarrass, and I am fond of the occasional surprise," Theon said, moving his hand down to pet the shadowcat, taking the risk.

"You bring up a good point," Aerie conceded in her smooth manner, "but my surprises may not be those you would enjoy." Nemesis tolerated the man's hand, pushing her head against his touch languidly.

Seeing the display before him, Seth decided to make his way towards some other area of interest, leaving the two alone.

Theon continued to pet the shadowcat. "Maybe I will not, but there is only one way to find out." He said, a glint in his eye.

"I tend to go with better safe than sorry," Aerie suggested.

"Yes well, I understand, the Islands are not a place for those who like to play it safe," Theon said, turning away, "I wonder if I'll find any Greenlander women strong enough to risk them."

"Me, play it safe? I think you've confused my concern for your welfare with my preferences." Her voice had lost it's smooth quality and had now reverted to its usual airy and incredulous nature. Nemesis's tail twitched with intent this time. "But if you're anxious, you might find some takers in a brothel."

Theon shrugged and turned back, "a miscommunication then. Your concern for my safety is very kind, Aerie, but believe me when I tell you I have faced worse than you and your fearsome cat."
"I am anxious for nothing but to learn how strong you are."
