Donal comes out of the stables leading his destrier Acorn. Waiting in the courtyard are Ser Robert Hightower, newly knighted Lord of Oldtown, Ser Garrett Redfort, looking sober and older somehow, and Ser Eddard and his men-at-arms numbering 20 or so assorted knights, squires and servants. Ser Timmett & Ser Bennett Grimm sit in the seat of the wagon, looking miserable and hungover from Ser Doggett's drinking contest. In the back of the wagon, Addam's corpse lay bound and shrouded.
Donal mounted his horse and motioned his men forward, heading for Oldtown via Lannisport and the Sea Road.

"Brother Donal i am sorry for your lose i grieve to say i did not know nephew even though he was only a few years my junior, Lord Tallahar has brought me up but as i am now knighted it seems fit that now i shall study under you it looks to be an enjoyable occasion." Lord Robert says with a boyish grin of a little boy with a new toy.
OOC will the Rping move to the Sea Road thread later on

Garrett Redfort rides silently on a grey courser, flanking Ser Donal's horse from the right. His shield is black, with a half moon curving around a white rose.

Donal smiled sadly at Lord Robert. His youthful eagerness reminded him of Addam. "Study under me? I am no maester. But I have seen things no maester has seen and perhaps you will be tempered in the flame as I have been and be transformed."
ooc: yup - it'll take probably most of a 'real day' to get to Oldtown.

Lord Balor Greyjoy and his entourage enter the courtyard, escorted by several dozen goldcloaks. He looks around with a slight smile as the castellan enters to show him to their quarters. "Tell Lord Baldwin I am here and will meet with him at his earliest convenience"

Balor smiled thinly "Of course Baldwin. Lead on". He turned to a large woman standing to his right "Bella, see to the rest of my men and make sure they stay out of trouble".

Edmure entered the courtyard and searched around for Balor, hearing that he was in Baldwin's chambers he made his way towards the tower jutting out from the small mountain Casterly Rock was burrowed into. As he turned up the stairs he came across Gregor Hill, the captain who had stopped him when he had stolen the Lioness from the port. After an awkward glance Edmure continued up the stairs and knocked on the door to Baldwin's solar.
OOC: In an interview GRRM said that Casterly Rock is literally in a Rock, it was dug into a small mountain overlooking Lannisport.

Lord Balor Greyjoy entered the courtyard and started towards his men. As he neared them, he saw Lord Botley enter the courtyard. He stopped, and changed direction, heading towards him. As they came together he said quietly "Botley, what are you doing here? You were supposed to stay on Pyke!" he whispered angrily. "I thought that you would want to see this immediately, Balor" he said meaningfully and handed over the parchment. Balor snatched it from him and read it quickly. He slowly lowered it and smiled a wolf's smile. "He managed it!" he said in a fierce low voice "He actually did it!" He looked about his men and said "Come, we return to Pyke" in a loud voice "You too, Edmure" he said pointedly. They made their way down the path towards Lannisport.

Edmure sighed, "Mother grant me mercy, and Crone grant me wisdom, I think I'm going to kill this man," he muttered under his breath.

Lord Steffon Lannister rides into the courtyard of Casterly Rock, with his usual entourage of ragged, dangerous looking followers, all bearing his sigil. He shouts up at the castle
"I have come to meet my young cousin Allard. I wish to congratulate him."
