With his newly acquired ship, named The Lioness by the Lannisters slipped through the night fog and out into the quiet sea. Edmure hoped they would not be noticed, but unfortunately one of the nearby ships spotted them, and the sentry on deck hailed them. "Seven hells, get those Lannister uniforms on," Edmure muttered. As the men clambered to get into the Lannister uniforms Edmure steered Lioness towards the other ship. He hoped he could talk his way out of this one, he had no wish to test the speed of his new asset against the rest of the Lannister navy.

Gregor Hill sat in his state room reading the peculiar orders given him. They were so strange he had sent a runner to the Rock to verify them. One of his hands stuck his head in the door, "Captain, one of our ships is sailing. We hailed them and they are coming along side."
Gregor waved the man out and stood buckling on his sword belt. Soon he was on the deck staring at The Lioness. Gregor walked up to the port side and yelled across, "Ho Lioness. Why do you make sail?"
ooc-I don't think you have to worry about uniforms man, this isn't exactly the British Navy.

OOC: Okay fine IC: "Orders, Lord Baldwin needs an urgent message delivered to the Crag too vital to be trusted to a raven. As his lords fastest vessel he chose us to do the job." Edmure answered, and silently prayed to the Crone that she would deny her lamp to the other captain, and instead shed her wisdom on him.

For a moment Gregor didn't say anything, "Is Davock still claiming that barnacled wreck is the fastest in the fleet? Cause we all know that the Yellow Piper is far faster." He proudly pats the railing of his ship.

Edmure laughed, a hollow empty laugh. "Aye, but it's not up to us to question his lordship's orders." His hand flexed near the hatchet at his hip.

Gregor looked over his shoulder at his signalman, and then shook his head, "Go ahead Lioness. I have the orders that set you free in my cabin. Good luck and avoid any storms." Gregor turned and went below deck shaking his head.

Edmure sighed with released tension. They were free to sail as far away as possible. Then something struck Edmure, that was too easy. He continued thinking for a moment then shook his head, and muttered a prayer to the Crone. "Set a course north Waters, I'll be in the cabin." He turned and walked to the captain's quarters, where his young charges waited. Time to have a little chat.

OOC: How old is Edmure? Andry is 23 and Cassy is 22. They aren't -that- young.
Andry looked up from a book he was reading with Cassy to see Edmure enter their room. Andry smiled at him with slight formality and Cassy greeted him very softly, being nearly asleep herself.

OOC: Edmure is 46, so to him they are still young
IC: Edmure spotted Andry and walked up to him quickly, pulling out a knife he grabbed Andry's shirt and put it under his chin. Looking at his suprise Edmure said, "first lesson, never trust anyone." Edmure was not angry, but he understood that if his charges were to survive they had learn. "Your spectacle at the Rock could of gotten you both killed, and believe me I wouldn't have been suprised to hear of your deaths by tommorow if I hadn't gotten you out of there. Never do that again, you can't go striding right into the lion's den, dressed as you were and expect to come out of that. I can only hope your brother has kept my advise and disguised himself well."

Andry pulled back from the knife calmy, "I don't want to do, but I am always ready to. I have been for the past five years. I have spent these five years in near solitude just training my sword-arm and practicing my mind for the coming storm."
"I was full aware Lannister would not kill me, and I had protection of my own", Andry said, speaking of the knights he had brought with him.

Edmure smiled grimly at Andry, "I doubt not your sword arm my prince, but that won't help you against poison, or the assassin's dagger, no matter how many knights you have." He looked out through the window across the water for a moment, and the turned back. "How many knights do you have? And what has happened too you both, the rumour was that you were all dead." He was glad that Andry had not picked on Edmure's comment on his brother, perhaps it was best to keep Callen a secret for now.

Andry almost looked confused, "As far as I am concerned, or aware, all of Rodrick's children are still living. As for knights...I've brought half a dozen, not including my friend Ser Roger Darry. I did not expect to need an army. Hold on...", he said looking off to the side rather pensively, "Have your ships take us to the Arbor. We will find friends aplenty, and it would be good to see my aunt again."

Edmure looked at Andry for a moment and then spoke, "your brother asked me to parlay with the Greyjoys, I can take you to the Arbor when I'm done. Besides having an actual living Baratheon prince at my side may just add a little more influnce to your brother's words."

"Why go to the Greyjoy's first when the Arbor is safer? You are clearly putting the both of us at risk here." At this, Cassy looked up, rather sleepily.

Edmure sighed, he had hoped it would not come to this, "no more risk than when you showed up at the Lannisters wearing that," Edmure nodded at Andry's clothes, "gods, Callen never mentioned that his younger brother was a pompous brat."
