Yet again all the crowd rise to their feet yelling, "The Dogs!! The Dogs!!" and clapping enthusiastically.
Clegane rides over and yells down to Redfort, "Damn, I am going to be feeling that tomorrow. Well struck." He salutes another opponent and then kicks his horse. Troting back into position, Clegane waves to the crowds.

The Late Lord Alyn Royce's advice on Custom Agents seems prescient as Ser Vikter Jast, another Goldhand, challenges the Redroyce next.
Rhodri slaps down the visor on his helm and spurs Javelin into the lists. The Redroyce delivers three blows in four passes and the dour Jast is unhorsed.

The crowd falls silent as the Knight of the Moon does not move after being unhorsed by the Kingsguard, Ser Timm Vikary. Pages scurry out with a stretcher, but the Maester does not let them move him, not yet. It seems his neck his hurt, and he may not live.

In the longest match of the day thusfar, Lord Sylas Caron, the Songlord, and Lord Rhodri Royce, the Redspear, charge each other eight times. Dust begins to obscure the lists from the constant pounding of the horsehooves. Each shatter lances on the other, and the whole crowd is standing in anticipation of each pass. The old legend's skill proved true, however, when on the eighth pass he laid a heavy blow on the Redroyce and took the champion's position.
Rhodri rose to his feet and applauded the Songlord, and waved to the crowd as he departed the lists.

The crowd watching Ser Clegane can not see the tragedy on the field behind them, so their loud cheers echo over the sad scene. Ser Timm has dismounted and is standing by the scene full of remorse. Looking at the Maester he asks about the fallen man's condition. Timm grimaces at the answer he is given.
