"Indeed you must be taking all this especially hard, considering. Any comfort I can give." He said trailing off.

Izzy nodded. "I am thankful for that. Your kindness is much appreciated. I know that our first priority must be to find the man who killed Mace. I wish that I might help, though I suppose the sensible thing would be to leave it to all the great lords and yourself to handle."

"Nonsense. You knew the man as well as anyone. Tell me of him. Especially recently. What have you noticed?"

"He was happy enough while his wife lived, but when she died...I have never seen grief like it," Izzy replied. "They were not in love, I believe, but her death hit Mace hard. He was drunk when he told me, and his grief was distressing even to me. I barely knew the lady. He feared murder. But I wouldn't be at all surprised if you know more than I about that."

"Yes understandably," Finn replied, nodding knowingly, but not bothering to elaborate.

Finn nodded in apparent agreement, "grieves now for certain." He said.

"So he does. Please tell me if I can do anything else to help. Otherwise, I probably ought to be going. The streets may not yet be safe and I had best take no chances<" Izzy said.

"The streets were not safe before," Finn reminded her, "would you care to have some of Captain Jaqen's men escort you home?"

"Please. I'd not have come alone were it not for the fact that I wasn't sure how open you wished to be about our acquaintance. But yes, an escort would be most welcome." She smiled a little and pressed her hand gently on his arm. "Come visit me at the Hightower if you like."

"You are of course welcome to stay the night," Finn added, pausing for a beat or two before adding, "a plus of buying up the entire inn, is there is no shortage of beds."

She thought a moment before she spoke. "That might be best. I shall be quite safe here, I know. I can return to the Hightower with you tomrrow."

Finn nodded, "then with business at and end, I shall pour myself a night cap and retire to my room," he grinned, "you are welcome to join me."
