Gwayne considered for a moment, her eagerness making him smile.
"You could never be a hindrance, my lady. I'm pleased to learn that you are eager to be married to my brother. Out of respect to the Tyrells, and Her Grace, you are right that a marriage ceremony now would need to be quiet unless it were to be delayed, which I too would prefer to avoid. I would be happy to arrange a quiet ceremony with just our families. I am sure my brother will not mind. Would your uncle consent to that?"

Jennalynn smiled and gave Lord Gwayne a smile nod.
"I am sure that my uncle would be alright with that, besides I am sure that he'll be too busy with the investigation of the murder to object to move the binding of our houses together forward as discussed. I have only met Ser Mace Tyrell once, and I am sad that he was murdered and I do hope that his murder is found and brought to justice but at the same time, with all this delaying, I think that the culprit has managed to do what he sought out to do, besides murdering Ser Mace."

"I'm inclined to agree. My lady shall make Gareth an admirable wife. Well then, what do you say to being married tomorrow, if my brother also consents? I am sure neither the queen nor Small Council could take offence."

"If Ser Gareth consents to that, I would be more than glad to be married before the Seven tomorrow."

"Then I will speak to him, unless you would prefer to do so yourself. Let us hope your uncle will not mind sparing the time from the investigation in order to give you away. But I know many others are helping too."

Jennalynn smiled with a nod.
"You should be the one to speak with him, since I am sure that you'll be able to get access to him much quicker than I will, Lord Gwayne. We might be husband and wife soon, but you hold more power than I and with all his obligations with the tourney and now with this horrible murder, his mind is probably occupied with other thoughts than our upcoming marriage. And besides, it was your orders that the events planned was to be put on hold." she said with a smile. "And I am sure that my uncle will find the time to give me away, especially with the small ceremony as that won't take the same amount of time like the planned wedding might have."

"True enough. It shall be done," Gwayne promised. "Thank you for speaking with me, my lady. I hope you will let me know if there is anything else I can do for you."

Jennalynn smiled and bowed her head slightly.
"I will, Lord Hightower, thank you. I will leave you to your other obligations now. I have to find a dress and have my servants prepare for the ceremony. By your leave, my lord" she said and curtsied, waiting for Lord Hightower to give her the permission to leave.

"Of course. Good day, Lady Jennalyn." He offered her a parting smile.

Edric knocked on the door, looking for an audience with the lord.

He is shown in presently, where he finds Gwayne seated at his table.
"Ah good day. Please, be seated."
He spoke very politely since the two of them were barely acquainted.

"Thank you," Edric replied amiably enough, vaguely remembering the lord as an adventurous and loud lad from their last proper encounter, which might have been over ten years ago now.
"How are you faring? I hope the investigation is going well," he said after taking the offered seat. He did not know of any ongoing investigation, but assumed measures were being taken in order to find the person behind Mace's death.

"Well enough," said Gwayne, though he hadn't heard much lately. "We'll find the murderer. As for me, I'm quite well, as far as the circumstances allow. I hope you are not troubled by the recent unrest in the North?"

"Not at all, it seems like the situation got handled peacefully enough," said Edric, somewhat glad that Hightower touched the topic he needed to discuss anyway, having never been exceedingly good at small talk. "Have you been in contact with my brother at all? Concerning your cousin, and all."

"I'm afraid not," Gwayne replied. "We received a letter from Leyton but it didn't say much, and chances are the situation has calmed down by now. I barely know your brother though."
