Rupert Kellington had posted himself outside Lord Cave's manse, posing as a begging brother. He is clad in brown robes with a wooden bowl, begging alms and preaching the word of the Seven. Before his employment by Lord Oswyn, Rupert had studied for some time to be a septon, which was put to use as he occasionally quoted long excerpts from the Seven-Pointed-Star.
As he did this, he kept a keen yet subtle eye on those that entered and exited from the oak gates that guarded Lord Saxon's manse, keeping careful mental notes of anyone of interest. He hoped to find anyone likely to lead him to the location of Cave's elusive party.

After several hours of waiting, An enormously obese merchant comes to the door. Behind him his a young man with a donkey cart loaded with casks of wine piled so high the donkey seems liable to die of exertion before ever reaching their destination. The obese man goes inside.

Kellington approaches the young man operating the donkey cart as the obese merchant disappears behind the gates.
"Mother's blessings upon you, my child!" he said in greeting.

"A man does not need drink when he is guided by the Seven." he replied, as if it were sage wisdom, all the while studying the casks for any sign of the merchant's mark imprinted upon them.

There was a sign of a merchant named Tomlin's Import Vineyards, who dealt with only the very best wine and ale in all of the seven kingdoms.

"That's a great deal of wine you've got there." he said to the boy. "There must be a powerful thirst somewhere. I don't suppose you'd know where that might be? Where there's drink, there's sinners in need of saving."

"I don't know, that's what the old man is talking to the master about now," the boy replied.

"I would be most interested to know where you deliver these casks." he replied, shaking his wooden begging bowl so that the copper coins on top shifted aside to reveal the heavier golden dragon below. "And most appreciative."

The boy looked at the gold dragon, before looking both ways, "What's the catch?" he replied.

"No catch, my boy." Rupert replied, in his most reassuring septon impression. "The Faith must preach where sinners abound. Sometimes we must be creative in finding them. Tell me where these casks are delivered and you will please the Gods as well as your pockets."

"When you have returned with the location." he said sternly. "I might be a man of charity, but I am no fool."

"I think you're full of it,"the boy replied. "No one would give anyone a dragon for that."
