Lord Royce pays a visit to Lord Cave

[The Stranger]

"It matters not. They know the eggs exist. There are only so many places King Daemon could have hid them, and they have had plenty of time to narrow it down." Saxon replied.

[Horas]

"That is not ideal," Bayard says, drumming his fingers on the arm of his chair in irritation. "What resources does this cult have? Are there lords who support them?"

[The Stranger]

"No doubt. And rich merchants besides. It's safe to say they have the gold and the manpower for most any scheme, although I imagine they must still husband their resources carefully, and would not risk it all in one shot."

[Horas]

"What gain can they expect from supporting such a cause?" Bayard asks with mild disgust. Political gambits he could understand; true fanatics were another matter.

[The Stranger]

"Eternal life, perhaps," Saxon replied, "I can't really say. Their goals and plans are not logical as we would traditionally see them."

[Horas]

"I suppose their goals must include weakening the realm through strife," Bayard muses. "Is it possible that they may be working in concert with the wayward Prince?"

[The Stranger]

"They tend to kill Targaryens they get their hands on. Unlikely, although, I'd warrant not impossible." Saxon replied, "But absent solid evidence it would not be my first assumption."

[Horas]

Bayard made a hmmming noise. "At any rate, I thank you for bringing this to my attention. I shall take my leave, unless you have something else you wish to discuss."

[The Stranger]

"I goal is that by giving you some glimpse of the threat it makes you more security conscious, rather than less? Some times people react with more paranoia towards threats they can not see. I'm hoping that will not be the case here?"

[Horas]

"A man who lives in darkness is less prone to jump at shadows, Lord Cave, though you have certainly given me something to think on." He rises from his seat.
