[The Smith]

Damon looked at her, and asked, "Anything wrong?"

[Viea Greyjoy]

"Have you a subject that you dislike speaking of so much that a hint of it will damage the full day?" She asked, "For me that is my family."

[The Smith]

Damon chuckled, "I have no subject like that. Fear does not have a hold on my heart."

[Viea Greyjoy]

"You are indeed a lucky man then." She said softly. "Too many let fear rule them."

She didnt say anything about her fears that had made her claw off every lock on the ship once.

[The Smith]

Damon laughed, "It is not luck, I have forged myself into this man. The one who is capable of shaking off fear like a dog with water."

[Viea Greyjoy]

"You must have had a lonely childhood." Viea said. She toyed with the remaining drink, dipping her finger in and running the tip around the edge of her mug.

"Everyone fears something at least once."

[The Smith]

"I suppose I feared things, but I learned to best them. Failure I suppose I fear that, but I just will not allow that to happen." Damon replied, "And I do not want to disappoint Teirney... that leaves a hollow in my stomach."

[Viea Greyjoy]

"The girl that you are forbidden from marrying?" Viea asked. She studied the man for a long time. "I guess that gives you an incentive."

[The Smith]

"A great incentive indeed." He smiled at the thought of her, "She is a bit like you. So strong and fierce."

[Viea Greyjoy]

"Not damaged at all then." Viea said, but smiled. "I can only imagine what it is like to truly love someone like you do. What if her family marry her off in your absence?"

[The Smith]

Damon laughed, "She will not allow that, but if it were to happen... then it is a good thing I will be king."

[Viea Greyjoy]

Viea smiled. "We are considered pirates because we take what we want and leave nothing of value..." She said. "Why do you not just take this girl and marry her before she can be wed to anyone else?"

[The Smith]

Damon laughed, "She would make me pay quite an iron price." He replied, "But I do want to see her again." He touched his chin.

[Viea Greyjoy]

"If I loved a man then nothing would stop me." Viea said. "Its why I enjoy trading with the Wildlings. They believe that if a man is strong enough then he will take his woman, even fighting her if needed."

[The Smith]

"If that man would kill you for disappointing him, I bet you would restrain your passion." Damon replied, and reached out and twinged her nose with his finger.
