"Were it my lands under attack, nothing could keep me here." Oswyn said critically. "But they are your lands to govern as you see fit."

"The Ironborn are like flies, no matter how many you kill they keep coming back, I can not simply wait on my shores and wait for them to attack, I do not know where they are to attack, and if they do I would not get there in time before they flee. Once I arrive home, I will march to Seaguard and take note of the situation, erecting and rebuilding towers along the way there. Sadly we do not have the ships to end the Ironborn threat, but they will not dare meet us on land because we outnumber them, and we are more skilled at it then they are." He explains.

"I am sure you will have the situation handled soundly." Oswyn allowed. "But do you not feel some amount of guilt feasting and drinking while those you have sworn to protect meet such a cruel fate?"

Jennalynn Royce showed up to the Tully Manse. She was dressed in a satin gown of a blue color with red embroideries that was made to look like the Tully colors.
She waited for someone to escort her to the host or hostess of the party.

Of course I am, however I have other duties to the new Queen, and as I said before even if I were to leave right now, I probably would be no help to them. At least this coronation is lasting only a week, upon then my Return to the Riverlands in inanimate." He commented. "But if you wish to speak of my lands and my duty to the, perhaps then before you go, we can speak of such things more privately."

She had made an effort to dress in the house colors, a nice touch. Amelia kept a polite and expressionless face as she sat beside her husband and listened to Lord Tully's justifications of his decision, but her whole body stiffened as Lady Jennalynn entered the room. The woman was too pretty, she thought, coolly evaluating Jennalynn with her green eyes. "Come, my lord," she said, gently holding Oswyn's arm again. "I feel like I would like to sit down at our table." Jennalynn stood at the door until she understood that there would be no one escorting her to Lord Tully, so with a elegant stride she went towards the host of the party, whom where standing talking to Ser Oswyn and his wife. She had noticed Amelia's eyes upon her, but she wasn't about to let the woman's apparent discomfort make her act in an unfashionable manner and not thank the host for the invitation. She curtsied as she came over to them and looked at Lord Tully with a smile upon her face. "I would like to thank you for the invitation, my lord Tully. The party looks lovely, and I really like how you've managed to make the place feel like it's outside King's Landing."

"There is nothing to apologize for, my lord Tully, there was pressing matters for you to attend to." she said with a smile. "I would love to talk with you, my lord, but first I would like to get something to drink after the ride here and maybe something that is common for the Riverlands. My mother comes from the Riverlands, but I've never been there myself."

Harold goes and gets some wine and hands it to her. "Here you go, not the best tasting drink compaired to the lands of the Far Reach and Dorne, but we make do." He smiles. "How was your ride here?"

Jennalynn took the offered wine, and took a small sip of it, before answering the lord of Riverrun.
"Uneventful, but it's sad to see all those poor children that are roaming the streets. The war took a large toll on the smallfolk and many children no longer have any parents left and are forced to beg or worse." she said with a sad face upon her face at the memory of the children.

"Do you work well with the children in the Vale?" He asks interested.

Jennalynn's confused look seemed to remain at her face, even after Lord Tully had answered her question.
"I have not been to the Eyrie for a long time, my lord, I was talking about all the children here in King's Landing."

Gareth Hightower arrived at the Tully Manse. He looked around at the gardens it held, no doubt to reflect the character of the Riverlands. For a fleeting moment it reminded him of the Far Reach and he had a sudden pang of longing for home. "Nice". he remarked out loud to no-one in particular.
