"So what could have brought him to travel such a distance?" Karys asked herself aloud. She turned back to the man, checking if he was still alive.

He had died as she spoke to the Maester.

Karys sighed. It was unlikely she would have gotten anything more intelligible out of him.

"Can you check the body for anything strange?" She asked the maester.

The maester checked them over, and said "They both have black masks tattooed over their hearts. Other then that... there is nothing." He does hand her a scribbled down piece of parchment.

On it is written

"Thank you for your services." She said to the maester. "I shall allow you to return to your sleep."
