The Love or Money is a tavern and brothel that has been a long time fixture of King's Landing. Focusing on a noble client base, it offers only the very best in ale and wine, served by beautiful, and after the appropriate amount of negotiation, willing, women. It is now a large two-story building, made of stone and wood, with the bedrooms separated from the front tavern by a thick door and an off-duty Captain of the Goldcloaks named Damon Waters serves as head of security.
Behind the bar sits the Madam and proprietor Barb, a matronly woman, elderly. She watches the room sternly as her girls work.

"Lord Cave? Aye, I ain't seen him, but he might be around. You want to leave a message or you want to wait?" Ol' Barb asked, gesturing with her head towards one of the many empty seats, as it was relatively early in the day by tavern standards.

"Lord Cave ain't got no schedule. Comes and goes as he likes. Some times you don't see him for weeks, other times he'll rent a room out for a week. Curious old coot, he is, forgiven that I said so milady."

"Of course," Barb said, gesturing to a table area "fenced" in by an expensive looking silk cloth. From here she could see the comings and goings of the rest of the tavern, without being observed.
A short while later a long black-haired beauty approached.
"Milady, my name is Tania, Barb has said to make sure you get anything you need. Would you care to select from our cellar? I happen to know that the Dornish red is absolutely tremendous, if you take your wine mulled." a parchment was presented, and a hand written list, in very fine calligraphy provide on it.

Tania nodded, "We'd shudder to buy it from anywhere else," She said, referring to the cheese, before giving a brief bob and disappearing.
She returned a short time later with a bottle of the summerwine, two goblets, and a selection of cheeses and various fruit.
"If it please milady," Tania said, as she placed the items on the table, and stepped back to examine her handy work.

Tania looked at the silvers and pocketed them smoothly, before bobbing again, "Thank you milady. If you have further need, don't hesitate to call for me."
She stepped aside, and leaned up against a nearby wall, resting her eyes slightly.
A short while later, Lord Saxon came down the stairs. He had one arm around a very attractive young blonde, and the other around a girl of the Summer Islands, who was clinging closely to him, and whispering something which made him laugh uproariously.
His black doublet was slightly a skew showing a tad more chest than really ought to have been proper. Around his neck a medallion to the Smith.
He approached the table, with his two escorts, and slide easily into the opposite side of the booth.
"And how do you do milady?" he asked. "is it not an absolutely beautiful morning?"

Saxon smiled, "Lady Winifred," he smiled, "I would place a gold dragon on either one of these two in a declamation contest in High Valyrian against any man or woman you would care to name. Maya here," The summer Islander smiled politely, "is from a very noble family in her country. Her people have been," He looked at Maya, who said something in a foreign language.
"Ah.. yes, means... not King, maybe Prince? High Lord, something like that, for ages. She's serving here as part of their religious observances. When she returns home, she'll be recognized as a priestess of rank."
Saxon reached out and took the wine bottle, and poured himself a glass, sipping it, and sloshing it around on his tongue, before continuing.
"I assure you, you are in the very best of company."

Saxon nodded, "I'm comfortable speaking in front of them, but if you'd prefer I ask them to leave," he sighed as if slightly embarrassed, "I can certainly do so. Ladies you do not mind do you?" He asked.
The blonde pouted, but Maya just shook her head and smiled. They scooted out of the booth, both leaving Saxon a warm kiss before they departed.
"You'll forgive them if they do not make their goodbyes?" Cave said with a laugh.

A number of the girls flash Ser Victor knowing smiles and beckoning him closer.
Tania Snow, the black-haired wench who had brought wine over to Winifred's table, however remained against the wall, her eyes still closed.

Saxon simply smiled, "Your need is urgent? I confess I did not expect to have you seek me out in an establishment of this sort. Not that we don't get women of your station from time to time."
Tania's eyes opened languidly, and drank Ser Victor in, although with no reaction. "What does the look of my face have to do with whether I should be able to wet my tongue?" She asked. She closed one eye, and watched Victor with the other, as if she could be half asleep, and still rested that way.

//////////// Gwayne sauntered into the brothel and ordered a tankard of dark ale. Ser Damian Royce sits at the far end of the bar dressed in curiously nondescript wool and leather garb. For a moment, he and the Hightower make eye contact causing the vale knight to glance away, abashedly burying his face in his cup of wine. After pondering a moment Damian looks to Gwayne and shrugs with a smirk, raising to him his cup in a wordless cheer. He supposed they could only be here for the same reason, after all.

Gwayne took his drink and then, hesitating a moment, took a seat near the Valeman.
"Greetings," he said, saluting with his tankard. "Have you been here before? I fear this is my first visit to this particular establishment."

"I have heard," Saxon replied, sipping his wine. "And?"

Saxon smiled, "Interesting that you do not ask me to find your husband, I wonder why that is."

He cocked his head, "Why whatever do you mean milady? Do you not fear foul play in the matter?"
