"What concessions could the Riverlands offer the Far Reach? I agree the Redwyne fleet could aid the Mallisters at Seaguard in case of an attack, but what would it cost?" He rubs his beard. "Cost is a difficult term, my Lord." Lorren replied. "It suggests that what you offer us will not be of benefit to yourself. I am sure that a mutual agreement to lend assistance to one another in times of difficulty would not be too costly to you. The Riverlands command formidable levies, to be sure. But the soldiers of the Far Reach, although fewer in number have always been known for their courage and martial superiority. Beyond that, there is also the matter of our political capital. Our relations with Lord Stark and his family are quite healthy. Perhaps we could convince him to guarantee the security of your northern borders. We would of course, be hopeful that you would petition the King in favour of Lord Lothar's appointment as Warden of the South. A friend holding such a position would benefit you almost as greatly as it would us." "I would be glad to speak with your lord on this, I feel that perhaps a Military and Trade Alliance to strengthen our relations and boarders, I am sure we can both come out on top with not only the trade we can accomplish, but with aiding each others in times of trouble." He says with a smile. "Perhaps we should set up a date for when I can speak to your lord?" He asks.

"I am unsure when he will be available. I will tell him what we have spoken of and he shall, I am sure, send you a raven to arrange a meeting." Ser Lorren stood. "I am sure that I have taken up enough of your time, my lord. I will, if you do not object, take my leave."

"Of course, do please give my best to your family. I do hope to see that raven soon." He smiles. ((Sorry for the late reply got caught up with school))

Ser Lorren nodded, bowed slightly and exited.
(OOC: No worries, I was busy all weekend anyway.)
