I had Gerion call him his "cousin" but he's pretty hammered usually so fit him in anywhere. It was before Viea started RPing with the NW folk. I'm everywhere in these threads!
Also, good job everyone so far. Going to some dark places but good development. Keep it up.

Ha. Well let's face it, some of our pranksters wouldn't have been above pretending to be him for a few minutes. Good news though. On another topic, is there anything strategic we want to be doing during this TJ period? Gerion will offend the majority, I'm sure, but even he sees the value in alliances to temper the ambitions of other houses. We've kind of accidentally got good relations with the Tullys at the moment and possibly Lady Hightower, through the opening RP day as well as going positively nowhere with the Tyrells and actually antagonising the Baratheons. Royce we're kind of neutral with and we've not really struck up a meaningful dialogue with Stark, Martell & the Ironborn yet. I can't see us fostering particularly good relations with the Ironborn, considering the cast of miscreants we're playing, though I suppose Gerion's drinking and crude manners may win some over. Stark I can't see us having much in common with but the Martells may be our best shot, considering we want to leave this RP session with their betrothal agreement for Aurane, so once he notices his son's attentions he may crank back the douchebaggery a few notches to get the deal done. Any other plotting type thoughts or are we just free-forming? Which is fun, but focussed objectives with tangible rewards are too  |

We could suggest fostering kids. Horas mentioned that in passing about Tynian, but I think Gerion would need hard selling to let him out of his sight at the moment. So, you're going to have 22 Amelia (currently aged 2) fall in love with someone 15 years older than her and was someone her mom courted when she was a similar age? And isn't Tierney even younger than Amelia? I mean, do whatever you want, I'm just scratching my head as to how it would all come about! I can see why you'd love it as you'll be in the odd position of RPing Winnie, aged...er 45?...at that point watching her daughter trying to seduce someone she had feelings for herself. All very odd, but then that's this family I guess! Beric, let us know what sort of stuff you're interested in, as you'll be head of the household when it all kicks off properly. |

It's definitely dysfunctional but Aerie loved the idea too because it'll create jealousy between three generations of Lannister women and therefore epic dysfunction. Yes, Amelia will be 22 and Teirney will be 18. Nothing wrong with liking a 37 year old man or even a 47 year old man for that matter! Men come into their own around that age anyway! Let's not put any limits on where the RP goes - you really never know and I can foresee some drama and intrigue coming out of this that could affect the whole game. If Tynian is fostered out, who will kill Gerion? =( Unless Tynian comes back on a holiday, or something? We could do it that way. Also, we should get a second son in return. Is Donnel Royce the second son? Yeah Flex, let us know what you want to do too! Actually the more I think about it, the more I like it. I'll drop Horas a line and see if he's still ok with the idea and we might have the epilogue of the feast being Tynian heading off to the Eyrie with the Royces, after a bittersweet farewell with his family. |
