Just to gauge a reaction. Gareth has no ambition to be a King Consort.

I just hope you didn't affect my chances. :-P I have almost definitely lost the person Gwayne was originally going to court, and I have lost interest in pursuing that now., for various reasons The queen makes sense to me, though I initially wasn't planning to go down that route. So fingers crossed, I guess! I've not got any other prospects currently so I'll take a good shot at courting the queen.

Should we start taking bets on me and Leyton's spy character?

Hey guys, Gwayne and Izzy are hosting the queen and Mace at our manse. Feel free to drop by with your characters residing in the city if you like - I hate excluding people from things - as long as you bear in mind that my purpose is to court the queen

HI We're hosting people at Oldtown now so you could post there maybe. Even if Leyton has to be in the North you've got your 2nd you could use.

Haven't really used my 2nds and 3rds much at all to date. Suppose I should.

You could do, though to be honest I have a VERY bad feeling about the way things are going right now. Everyone seems to have lost their motivation at the minute, what with all the quitters.

I haven't been privy to all the chat discussions. Who's quit and why?
I'm convinced that heaps of people love making characters, but don't want to, or can't, play them.

What we need is a bit of action. A war most likely.

Yeah there are a lot of people who have said they don't have time to get fully involved in their characters and have dropped out rather than be left behind. A few have come online but barely posted in weeks. Most of the Lannisters for one and at this point all of the Tullys! Most of the Greyjoys have disappeared, as have a couple of the Royces and Starks. One of the Baratheons had to take a long LOA and hasn't reappeared. Plus I know a couple of our own have had difficulty integrating themselves. I've tried to help but in house RP can only take us so far. Nor is it "my" site so there is only so much pushing I am willing or able to do. One problem I think is that a few of the missing members were important characters whose absence is very much felt. The other problem is that LOW relies less on the admin and more of the players. Whilst some of the games were 90% admin driven and 10% player plots, I think LOW is meant to be more 30/70 in favour of the players. That happened in the beginning but it's tailed off a lot. I think that is partly due to the absence of some of the players and because I think there has been so many games with mostly admin delivered plots that the players aren't always used to finding their own. Though I think we've done better than some of them in trying to find our own. But essentially I think it's led to a slackening of interest across the board which is really sad. We started off so well. However, if by some miracle the site does survive this setback in its current incarnation, I did convince cerulean (a real life friend of Viea's who was talked into signing up) to join us, but she wanted to finish reading A Game of Thrones first to get a feel for the setting. We thought she'd be best with us because she and I are in the same timezone, which is handy for a newbie, and I think the Iron Islands is not the best place for a newcomer to start off. Plus Viea has her own storyline going with Smith.

I'm still here, but no one has gotten my tags lately which makes it difficult to pursue the plans I have for Leyton. Not your guys fault on that one as pretty much only smith and in house people have been the only ones willing to RP with me which has been disappointing.

If this dies would you consider Camelot, Gwayne?
