Finn nodded, "I am indeed. I apologize for any inconvenience I might have caused," he added.

"Rath take El home, the long way. Do not want anyone to see." Joss said.
Purple nodded and smiled at Joss. Then lead the woman from the room.

"Is this all to impress upon me that you are the on charge of the events ongoing, and not your confederates?" Finn asked, "If so it has been successful."

"Powerplay successful then." He smiled, "Alright lets go down stairs." He stood, and walked toward the kitchens.

"I thought you said your friend was not here yet?" Finn asked, as he prepared to follow.

"Did I not mention his passion for the dramatic. He likes to appear in sealed rooms like magic." Joss lead him down stairs. "There is a room down here that is perfect."

Finn smiled politely and stopped walking at the top of the steps, "Forgive me. It appears we have a misunderstanding." He blinked and brushed his weasel cloak broach with his left hand while his right disappeared beneath the cloth, "At some point you seem to have taken me for a fucking imbecile."

Joss kept walking, "Do you think if I was lying I would make up a story better then this. Please. I told you this man thinks, or least wants others to think he is a faceless man. So he makes a show of it." He kept walked down the stairs.

"Understand," Finn said, "That if I do not return to the Hightower in time for my Hunt with the King, a series of letters detailing information of your operations, some of which I admit I invented but very creatively, will be sent out. You'll have FAR more attention than you could ever want, and all of it bad attention. So let us hope for both our sakes that your friend's Faceless Man routine stops at bad disguises and strange comings and goings, because I promise you, I am far less trouble alive than I can be dead."

Joss turned and looked at him, "I think you vastly underestimate how much trouble you are when you are alive." He laughed and added, "Do not worry I am as foolish as my father, and plan on using you to my own end, not reddening your pillow with your life's blood."

Finn smirked, "I am a grateful little weasel then." His hand remained on the hilt of his dagger behind the cloak anyway, not that he had much illusions if Joss decided to rid himself of Finn in the basement of his manse."

Joss walks into another room, and sits down. It is dark with several divans. He sits down on one, and puts his boots up. He grabs out a bottle of wine, and just drinks from it.

Finn sat with his back to the wall of the room, wrapping on it with his knuckles to confirm it was solid.
"So the Oldtown underworld is run by a teenager whose almost never sober?" Finn shook his head, "Things have certainly gone down hill."

Joss chuckled, "I hardly run the underworld." He looked up, "Do I look like some crime boss?"

Finn smiled in reply, "What does a crime lord look like?"
