"Well if my betters were already aware of his treachery then nothing, though I would know that the other half of my task would be nigh impossible." Gregor looked down a moment then shook his head. "If that were the case then the other task wouldn't matter anyway, would it."
"So are you saying that Lord Redwyne is a traitor?" Gregor asked

Mox studied Gregor closely, "I believe that is what you are saying."

"All I said is that it is very odd that Lord Redwyne would defy the Hand of the King, especially on such a simple request. Though by doing that he defies the King as well." Gregor rubbed his chin in thought. "Has Lord Jonas fallen out of favor with the King or perhaps your brother?" He asked

Mox asked, "Why do you think I would discuss such senstive matters with you?"

"I am a loyal servant of your house my lord. If I were not your brother wouldn't have set me on this task. If you require an oath then I will swear it." Gregor replied

"I would not trust my brother with that information." Mox replied vaguely.

"Yet your brother is the steward of Hightower..." Gregor paused "As steward he has to deal with lords throughout the realm. Would it not be beneficial to know those that are loyal and those who are not?" He asked

"Do you think it beneficial to tell those disloyal lords?"

"No my lord, I was not aware your brother...." So Maester Lymon had a loose tongue though Gregor didn't need to say it aloud. "I see your point." Gregor replied then hesitated.
"So pretend for a moment if you will, that you were me. You are tasked with procuring wine from a lord that has been most unwilling to deliver it as promised. As an aside you are to investigate the reason for this lord's defiance. What would you do?" Gregor asked

Mox looked at him, and said, "I would ask for the wine."

"I did my lord, and Lord Jonas stated he would deliver it in time for the festival. The issue is that he has apparently made numerous promises to deliver it but he has failed to follow through on his promises. Maester Lymon thinks that he will not make good on his promise once again." Gregor said sullenly

"When I ask... people do not say no." Mox replied.

Gregor continued to look sullen. He was no lord, only a loyal retainer. That was what Maester Lymon had called him. If only he had collateral or some authority. Then it hit him like a mallet striking a gong. "Would you ask Lord Jonas?" Gregor knew it would cost, probably dearly but it had to be done.

Mox looked at him, "Do I look like a serving wench?"

Gregor looked ashamed "No my lord...I..." He stammered "I just thought since Lord Garnett is expecting the wine...but no it is my problem not yours."
"I unfortunately do not strike fear in the hearts of those that I deal with. Perhaps if I had some collateral, something to force Lord Redwyne's hand?"
