Dany arrived shortly, wearing a dress of deep green and gold, favouring the colours of her house this time. She seemed to be in a pleasant enough mood, knowing it was just another routine check-up.
"Maester Lymon," she greeted after knocking on the door softly and entering.

Lymon was reading a history of the teach when she entered, and he said "Be seated please, how are you?"

"I am doing well," she replied before sitting opposite the maester. "And I hope you are, too," she added with a smile.

"I am well thank you." Lymon replied, and then followed immediately, "Have you thought on who you would like to marry?"

"No," she replied. Her answer to this question was the same every time.

"Garnet has decided that he wants you to marry into his family. You should be honored." Lymon said, and tried to keep his face smooth.

Of course he would want that. Who wouldn't want Highgarden to themselves.
"Very," Dany said, finding that the bright smile she managed came to her rather easily.
It would not be Joss because he wouldn't waste that marriage for me, so..
"Michael?" she asked, looking mildly interested.

"Garnet has not chosen a son, and said that if any of his sons agreed you can marry any of them." Lymon said, "I know this will be hard for you Danyella, but in the long run I think you could find true happiness."

Dany contemplated this for a moment. She knew that both Michael and Joss liked Tyana better than her so that would leave her with.. the weird dog boy.
"What if they don't, though?"

Lymon said, "I think then Lord Garnet would do the convincing."

"Do I even get a say in this? I probably don't, do I?" she asked, but didn't seem particularly bothered by the idea, it was more like something she expected.

Lymon looked at her a long moment, "I would advise you to make the most of the options you do have. The three boys are as different as three boys can be, but they will all be good men."

"That's what I thought," she said. "Any idea when can I visit my.. family back at Highgarden?"

Lymon thought a moment, "I will tell you what, if you can get one of the boys to agree to escort you. I will let you and a couple of your friends visit Hightower after the Festivel. Is that acceptable to you?"
