"Any problems that I had with the other children were ended." said Rycherd.
He shifted from one foot to the other. "Why have I been summoned to you, Maester Lymon? Surely it has not been to talk about something that took place five years ago?"

"It was not, but that is what we are talking about now." Lymon replied easily.

"I have nothing further to add about that unfortunately." replied Rycherd still shifting from foot to foot, as if he wanted to be out of Maester Lymon's room as soon as possible.

Lymon frowned, "You have seeming confessed to all but the details of a great crime."

"I haven't confessed to anything." replied Rycherd. "A childhood squabble, quickly settled and forgotten. I am no longer a child."

Lymon frowned harder, "Tough words from a boy who moments ago was crowing proudly about the pain he had caused other children."

"I said no such thing." replied Rycherd.

Lymon stood up and slammed his fist down hard on the table, "I am sorry, but you just did to my face."

"I am sorry Maester Lymon, but I said no such thing." repeated Rycherd stubbornly. "You said that...not I."

Lymon said, "You have implied it to my face. What else could you mean?"

You said I was crowing proudly about the pain I had caused other children. I said or implied no such thing." repeated Rycherd stubbornly.
"I merely defend myself when I am attacked or provoked, verbally or physically. And five years ago, that was all that happened. As I said a childhood squabble quickly settled and forgotten."

"You said it was not forgotten. Not I." Said Lymon.

"Forgotten in that I struggle to remember the details of what happened. All I know is that from then on there have been no further problems with the other children." replied Rycherd.
"Indeed I had not thought about it, until you asked me the question. I was only twelve at the time."

Lymon said, "I am done with you for now, but know that you are on a short leash Tyrell."

Rycherd spread his hands in puzzlement. "Why? I'm not sure what I've done wrong."
